The illustrations and pictures in this book are wonderful. The story being told from the child's point of view is very touching. It is a very positive book showing the Mom with a wonderful, supportive family behind her on this journey. I would recommend it as a gift or a book for anyone with breast cancer. I saw some benefit of reading it to all women losing hair for any reason.

It will offer old and young alike an optimistic outlook on this disease and it shares the brave battle of a woman through the eyes of her young daughter. It is a great bedtime story! When my daughter at the age of 28 was diagnosed with breast cancer, she had two daughters, age 3 and 6 months. I looked and looked for a child's book to explain what was happening to their mom (especially the 3 year old) Katie fought breast cancer for 3 and 1/2 years before she lost her battle to it. There where NO books to help explain what mommy was going thru. Then this wonderful book appeared. Rhonda and her daughter Sally explain in simple words and wonderful true life pictures what is happening to mommy. This book is a blessing for any family with children who have to watch their mother deal with this disease. God Bless Rhonda and her family for this gift to all families who deal with breast cancer!
