Overview

Anah seems like all the other teens in the small town where she lives with her mom, but Anah feels very different from her friends. Maybe it's because she has never met her father who disappeared not long after Anah was born, or maybe it's because everything seems to come so easily for her. Sometimes it even seems like she can read minds and see the future in her dreams.

One night, at a concert, she finds in her coat pocket a ring with a glowing gemstone. Moments after, she collides with a mysterious, young man to whom she feels an instant connection to. Anah begins to unravel the origins of the ring and to see into the strange, new world her mother has kept her away from for so long.

About the Author

Stacy Jo Zercher is a mother of two daughters, who selflessly gave her advice about teenagers when writing, Monahdah. In 1993, she eloped with her husband after college, in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where her family lived for twenty-five years. She recently moved to Buffalo, New York. She enjoys hiking, yoga, painting in her art studio, visiting new places, and spending time with her family. She lost her mind when reading about all the alien conspiracies while doing research for Monahdah, but she found it again. The sequel to Monahdah is her work in progress.
