Monsterland would never be the same. The people in town were speechless by the newest turn of events. It was going to take a long time to rebuild the town. Carter took charge and with Wyatt's help, he's finding out just how bad things are. Were they the only ones left? Great writing. Sensational story line. Characters well defined and relate-able. This book pulls you in for the ride of your life. I found it interesting and unusual. Mr. Okon knows just how to get your heart racing, your pulse pounding and your imagination working overtime. This book will stick with you and make you consider what could happen in our world today. Get this book for your TBR pile. I found no issues. I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 cheers because it's the perfect Halloween read. ~Copy of book provided by author and I voluntarily reviewed it.

I absolutely loved the first book in this series (Monsterland), I was a little worried at first that the second book wasn't going to live up to the expectations that we were left with at the end of the first book. I was totally wrong and this book might be just a tad bit better than the first story and I can only imagine now what is to come in this awesome series!! You are immediately thrown back in this world of total chaos and left wondering what is left of the world. With each new surprise that Wyatt and his group of friends encounter while trying to find out who is behind the newest threat from ground zero aka Monsterland, nothing is what it seems. I don't want to spoil too much but this was a book that captivated my attention from the first page until that last word was read and now, I'm left wondering what is going to happen next for everyone!! I would highly recommended that you read Monsterland if you haven't done so already before leaping into this book, you won't be disappointed at all!! Thank You to Michael Okon for having the second book in this awesome series be as good or even better as the first and I so can't wait to see what will happen next!! I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book from the Author!

I am loving this horror, apocalyptic, dystopian novel of terror. Monsterland Reanimated, Book II of the Monsterland series, by Michael Okon picks up where Monsterland, Book I, leaves off. The world has gone to hell, leaving an apocalyptic, desolate existence. The kids grew up quick, some faster and more eager than others to step up. Danger dogs their every step, but the band of youngsters will stop at nothing to banish evil. Igor and Dr Frasier have duties dictated by the now deceased Vincent? Motive =.Power. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. First it was zombies, werewolves, and vampires. What will they be fighting this time? Do humans stand a chance against them? I am sure it will be gruesome.and deadly. What’s more dangerous than a speeding bullet? Whisp soda. Action, adventure, suspense, thrills and chills, abound in this twisted horror novel that makes Jurassic Park look tame. I voluntarily reviewed a free copy of Monsterland Reanimated by Michael Okon.

If you thought a theme park full of deadly monsters was bad, the aftermath when it all goes horribly wrong is even worse. Michael Okon cranks up the craziness in his second book in the Monsterland series. The characters have to step up when the world falls into chaos and they battle new and deadlier monsters while also contending with the insane plotting of some dastardly villains. I had such a blast reading this. It was fun to be back with the gang. I was really worried about one character in particular. He made quite the impression when he showed up again and quickly became a star in this follow up. I can’t wait to see what he’ll do next. Yes, there will be another book in this thrilling series and I’ll be first in line. I am huge on horror and thrillers and anything monsters and this has it all. Also liked the apocalyptic tones. Once the action begins it doesn’t slow down. And there are some wild scenes that I think I’m glad I couldn’t see. LOL Madcap fun through and through.

Every so often I enjoy stepping out of my normal reading types to try something new. This being one of them. This for me was interesting and somewhat a fun read. And also a hard one to place down easily.

Reviewed by Romuald Dzemo for Readers' Favorite Monsterland Reanimated is the second book in a scintillating horror series by Michael Okon. A disaster has struck the horror theme park and the impact is devastating to the small town. The escaping werewolves, zombies, and vampires of Dr. Vincent Konrad’s theme parks are leaving numerous dead bodies in their wake. Vincent had thought of uniting the world, but has ended up destroying it with every world leader murdered, governments scrambling to set up new regimes and society in total chaos. It is against this backdrop that Wyatt sets out to contact the outside world and alert them of a painful betrayal. But problems just keep on stacking up against him, including the relentless, life-sucking ooze they simply call the “glob,” and a monster arisen from the depths of the chaos. Can he find answers before the chaos catches up with him? Michael Okon does an incredible job in creating a world with elements that align perfectly to deliver the horror that readers long for in novels like this one. The story opens with a bang — a moment of crisis — with things falling apart and the unleashing of monsters. Out in the streets, readers encounter professionals turned monsters. Wyatt and a tiny few struggle to survive while seeking answers, but who and what can they trust? The action is intense and the pacing is fast. The characters feel very real — Wyatt, Melvin, Damon, Howard and a host of others — and it is interesting how they evolve through the narrative. Monsterland Reanimated features a riveting plot and an arresting narrative voice that combines with the exciting dialogues to create a reading experience that is perfect for fans of horror. This is an engrossing read with conflict and suspense that will keep readers turning the pages. An electrifying read!

Reviewed by Grant Leishman for Readers' Favorite Monsterland Reanimated, Book Two of the Monsterland Series by Michael Okon picks up from the first book, after Monsterland has been destroyed (or has it?). The world’s leadership is gone, the world economy has collapsed and in Copper Mountain, the site of the US Monsterland, Wyatt, his step-father Carter, and his mother and brother must try to figure out what to do next. The town is isolated and all services have ceased, but Carter, a policeman, is determined to rally those who are left and try to organise some sort of civil society. Lawlessness is rampant though and, worse than that, there is still something happening at Monsterland. It seems that the Monsterland creator, Vincent Konrad, is not quite as dead as everyone supposes. He and his faithful sidekick, Igor, have plans to take over and rule the world with his army of living mummies. So starts a frantic race against time to stop the evil Vincent from succeeding. I had not read the first Monsterland novel, but really it is not necessary to have done so before reading Monsterland Reanimated. Author Michael Okon gives us the backstory very well as events unfold in the new story. I would never have believed a novel about zombies, shape-shifters, and monsters in general would captivate me quite the way this one did and that is a real credit to the author. I found his writing style and dark humour, with some subtle and not so subtle pop culture references, to be immensely enjoyable to read. Despite the fact that this is a book that delves into the darkest, most evil places in our hearts and is full of blood, splatter and gore, it is also a story that highlights and celebrates the most redeeming features of humanity. I particularly enjoyed the interplay and the developing relationship between Wyatt and his step-father. For anyone who has been part of a blended family, the emotions and feelings will be evident. This is a fun, enjoyable read and not just for fans of the genre. I was pleased to see a third book is in the works and I know fans of Michael Okon’s work will be happy about that.

Reviewed by Sefina Hawke for Readers' Favorite Monsterland Reanimated (Monsterland Series Volume 2) by Michael Okon is a fiction supernatural horror story that would appeal most to a diverse audience of teenagers and young adults who enjoy monster fiction and who do not mind reading about violence and blood. This story takes place three weeks after the implosion of Monsterland that occurred in the first book. Wyatt finds himself right in the middle of everything, alongside his friends and family as he fights to help put his town and the world back to order. Does Wyatt have what it takes to survive in this changed world and warn the government about the traitor that was working with Vincent Konrad? Monsterland Reanimated (Monsterland Series Volume 2) by Michael Okon is a well-written book that reminded me of a mix of the TV show The Walking Dead and the Jurassic Park movies. The author truly set this book apart from the Jurassic Park movies with how he explored the way the park’s implosion affected the rest of the world and the people in it. I really liked the way the author wrote about some of the major events that occurred in the first book in the second chapter. This reminded me of what had happened in the first book as it has been a while since I read Volume 1. I liked how the author explored more of the relationship between Wyatt and his stepfather, Carter, in this book as it felt like the events of Monsterland helped them to get a better understanding of each other. Overall, I greatly enjoyed reading this book and I hope the author decides to expand the series further in the future!

Reviewed by Rabia Tanveer for Readers' Favorite Monsterland Reanimated is the story of a place called Monsterland that is slowly but surely losing contact with the sane part of the world, where there are no monsters and people actually have normal lives. However, there are some undeniably active and very horrible forces that are cutting their contact with the outside world. In this state of confusion, Wyatt and his friends are trying to find the best possible way for them to survive and to put an end to this nightmare they are all living in. Monsterland is now being roamed by mummies, strange creatures and a blob-like monster that senselessly destroys everything in its path. But this monster is not what they should be worried about. There is something else, something far more dangerous that they have to worry about. Now what can they do? How will Wyatt and his friends survive? Monsterland Reanimated: Monsterland Series Volume 2 by Michael Okon is a gritty and raw horror novel that does the genre justice. Fast-paced, intense and actually giving me goosebumps, Monsterland Reanimated works with elements that may seem to be too much, but the author somehow makes them work brilliantly together. Superbly crafted, Monsterland Reanimated is a nail biter that I just didn’t want to put down. What I truly enjoyed about this novel was that the author held nothing back. If a scene needed to be gory, the scene was gory. I loved the characters as each of them had their own charm and vitality and they all brought something new to the table. This is a fantastic horror fiction that I didn’t want to end. There was something about the way the story was told that I didn’t want it to end. Absolutely brilliant!

Reviewed by K.J. Simmill for Readers' Favorite The aftermath of Monsterland was global devastation. Wyatt is haunted by events and the images of the violence he both witnessed and executed to survive have plagued him as much as the revelation that his own father had been a zombie in the exhibition. Whilst the events are fresh and all-consuming, there are other concerns. The world government collapsed, and most people in power were wiped out during their visit to Monsterland, paving the way for the co-conspiring Vice President to don the mantle of authority. With so few survivors, Wyatt knows he must find a way to alert the outside world of what has really happened. But something stirs in the ruins of Monsterland, something new and dangerous. Monsterland had been constructed in a place of great power, and Vincent’s plans had not been terminated with his death. Every villain must always have a Plan B; the time has come for it to be revealed. Monsterland Reanimated by Michael Okon is a rapid flowing, action-packed, suspenseful, paranormal thriller, filled with beautifully crafted descriptions and amazing scene setting. Tension is slowly built as the progression of events warns readers there’s something more to the situation at Copper Valley. Having read the first book, I can really appreciate the growth of the characters, not only from the last book, but throughout the progression of this one. Careful thought and consideration have gone into each character and their own individual history and plot, adding to their depth and believability. There are some great action scenes which only serve to enhance a well-executed and conceived plot. The stakes have been raised and, as a reader, I find myself eagerly awaiting the next book in this imaginative and thrilling series.

Monsterland Reanimated by Michael Okon is the newly published sequel to Monsterland. In the post apocalyptic world which takes place where Monsterland ends, the young hero, finds himself adjusting to the new reality as well as a new set of unimaginable creatures. Whereas the first theme park featured Zombies, Vampires and Werewolves, out of the newly resurrected ruins of Monsterland, emerge even more horrific abominations: a new breed of mummy like creatures, an oozing glob-like monster, as well as the reanimated, resurrected version of Vincent Conrad. monsters go beyond the ordinary, as Michael Okon, elevates the Monster Theme park to an entirely new horrible level of monster experimentation and mutants. Monsterland Reanimated is not simply a fast paced action novel, but an experience. It is as if the reader is immersed into an entirely new world, not simply a story about a monster themed theme park, but rather transported into an alternate reality of a post apocalyptic world. Okon's detailed account is authentic, and told in a matter of fact narrative, that makes the reader almost believe this is a true account of events that could possibly happen, given the right circumstances. All Michael Okon fans will enjoy this long awaited sequel to Monsterland, without a doubt.

Just when you thought the world couldn’t get any worse than Monsterland…well, Friday the 13th rolls around and we are faced with the aftermath of Vincent Conrad’s craziness that was Monsterland! Evil is as evil does. Nothing will be the same. All the monsters were let loose and exterminated. The army has left the area and people are trying to deal with the aftermath of losing many loved ones. Wyatt and his friends are set on a task to try and establish contact and to find out what is going on outside of Copper Valley. He and his friends find that they have to grow up rather fast as they are faced with monsters of the human variety. One of my favorite parts is that he finds Melvin!!!! I will say no more as to his role in all of this but it was very exciting for me.  This rag tag group of teens face the Glob and slowly but surely figures out what is going on while joining up with another group that is going back to Monsterland to try and stop what is being re-started. Now we have mummies and Area 51 to deal with along with a re-animated Vincent Conrad. Some parts felt a little far-fetched to me with the introduction of some characters/monsters but it all fits into place at the end. With so many other “monsters” coming out in this installment I can’t wait to continue Wyatt’s journey after Monsterland Reanimated!

Michael Okon (formally writing under the name of Michael P Cash) is a phenomenal writer of suspense and terror. I read every single one of his books!! Monsterland Reanimated is the 2nd book he has written under the name Michael Okon. The first, Monsterland, (see my review here)will have you shivering at not only what happens but the implications! Monsterland Reanimated is again a very fast read that I was not able to stop reading until the very last word. I would really like to see this made into a movie---lots of action. There is also a very human side to all of Okon's books and it is evident in this one as well. Friday the 13th is a perfect date for the publication of this novel!! If you have never read any of Michael's books--I suggest you do--NOW. I received an advance pdf reader copy of this book for enjoyment and possible review.

I loved this continuation on from the original Mosterland book. It is a fast paced, suspensful ride with lots of action, excitement and great characters. The world is in chaos and there is no help from the outside to deal with the monsters in Wyatt’s home town. Wyatt, his dad and his friends are once again thrust into dealing with things that previously only existed in nightmares. This story is creepy, thrilling but also has humour, realistic relationships and characters you will love. Both the original book and this sequel would make great movies or a TV series that would rival The Walking Dead.
