This is one of the best books of this series I have read. The author has thoroughly researched the topic, delving into obscure sources like old newspapers and scientific journals. He also does a great job of including often overlooked Native American folklore. The best description of the Lake Norman Monster I have ever read. I highly recommend this book.

An amazing book that makes you stop and think about questions like what is really prowling around out there. Not a book of sensationalism, but a level headed look at some of the area's cryptozoology.
