She has the chance to create the future she wants . . . but first she'll have to face her past.

Young, vibrant, and willing to confront any obstacle in her path, Bree Yarbrough has spent the last few years traveling the world and learning from the great artists. Only, her work has yet to strike a lasting chord. When her hometown mentor reaches out with an opportunity that will set her on the path to success, she knows she can't say no. But once back in Silver Creek, she discovers she isn't the only one who's returned home. Justin Cory has as well-and he's living next door. She may have made a fool of herself over him before, but Bree isn't the kind of girl to let past mortification stand in the way of something she wants.

The last ten years of Justin Cory's life has been driven by one focus: go to school, get his physical therapy degree, and return home so he can be there for his mom. But now that he's back, he can't stop thinking about the night that changed his life forever-and the guilt he can't escape. Fun, irresistible, and once-best-friend Bree seems like the perfect distraction. She isn't sticking around past the holidays, so he doesn't have to worry she'll expect more than he can give. But as they spend the season together, stolen mistletoe kisses start to feel all too right. However, with the future uncertain and the past hanging over them, it may take more than mistletoe to get from Christmas to forever.

Kim Law wrote about Bree and Cory. Cory was focused on his goal to be a physical Therapist. He was driven to make amends for his part in the accident that paralyzed his.mother, and placed his girlfriend into a coma. He knew when he survived the crash physically unscathed that emotionally he was more handicapped than his mother. His heart broke that day and he found that he could not love. Bree met Cory when she was thirteen and he was eighteen. She found their new neighbor interesting, and she asked him for her first kiss at her Sweet Sixteen party. They were best friends for years, and when she turned eighteen, she told him that she loved him while clad only in her red panties. When he turned her down, she fled in embarassment for three years. With sporadic short visits home, she spent her time living and experiencing the world. She traveled and supported herself with odd jobs and painting. Her art could not support her, yet. She was still finding her style, her talent when her artist friend invited her to collaborate on a large piece. It could be the thing to get her known, only this was Cory's mother, and she would have to return home where he was. There is sex, but very moferate. Kim Law did not try to use ecplicit sex to hold hrr sudience. She had a story to tell, and she did it well. I recommend this story.

Sweet story. Male hero irritated me and was a jerk. Story jumped some and needed more to turn him from jerk back to boyfriend. I most likely will try more of her books.

Montana Mistletoe is a fantastic contemporary romance by Kim Law. Ms. Law has provided readers with a well-written book. The characters are extraordinary and lovable, my favorite part of the book. Bree was rejected by Justin when she was 18. She's avoided him since then. Justin has a little angst and guilt going on and doesn't want a relationship. Bree and Justin's story is packed with drama, humor and sexy bits. I enjoyed this story from cover to cover and look forward to my next book by Kim Law. Montana Mistletoe is book 4.5 of The Wildes of Birch Bay Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
