A Respected Lawyer. The Town Pariah. A night at the Boudoir. Will love prevail?

Helen Jameson is tired of being Bear Grass Spring's laughingstock. With little to lose, she flees the only home she's known, and bargains her future away to an unscrupulous woman. Her experience three years ago with the town lawyer, Warren Clark, cemented her belief that no man is to be trusted. No one will ever care for her. She is on her own.

Warren Clark is a patient man. He has waited years for Helen's forgiveness. When his dreams for reconciliation are dashed by her rash actions, he must decide if the future he envisioned with her is one worth fighting for. He quickly learns that rescuing her from the Madam is easy. Earning her trust is his greatest challenge. Now, Warren must convince Helen of his love while he battles those in town eager to separate them.

This story is of the struggles between the town lawyer Warren Clark and local woman Helen Jameson who he had mistreated a few years earlier. Both people have self doubts due to their upbringings caused by their own families. Will they be able to forgive each other and find romance and a life together? This is a western romance set in Montana 1880's. The story line is interesting with well developed characters. This author's book are always so well researched and so well written. Once I start one of her books, I have trouble putting it down. I am a member of this author's ARC team and received this book for an honest review.

This story dates back to the year of 1886 in the Montana territory. I loved the story and it is the 4th book in the Bear Grass Springs Series. Helen has grew up in the town of Bear Grass Springs and has had a hard life. Her mother didn't was her but only keep her round to cook and clean. She was abuse by her mother and brother. Warren Clark, a lawyer, has loved Helen for 3 years. Both Helen and Warren had a lot of ups and down in the lives. There are a lot of turns and excitement in this story. It is worth reading. I highly recommend this book.
