My Review: FOUR STARS * * * * "I REALLY LIKED IT!" This rhyming picture book is a touching and age-appropriate read aloud for young children. The story is about an adult who is away from home temporarily. The adult wants to reassure the child that his/her love and thoughts are never far from the little one. The fact that the author also illustrated this book is amazing to me. The artwork is brilliant! The text wraps around the illustrations and makes the book extremely engaging for readers of all ages. The pictures made me feel as if I were flying over the various towns, houses, countryside depicted in the artwork. I highly recommend this book for parents, grandparents, and teachers of young children. This story would particularly appeal to families in the military, families where a parent is often away on business, or families where someone is in the hospital and unable to be at home. I was given a link to digitally access this book by the blog tour company coordinating the blog tour for the author in exchange for an honest review of this book. I received no other compensation for posting a review of this book. #################

Moon Mail and Star Kisses is an absolutely adorable little picture book. The illustrations are beautiful and very well done, and the story itself is sweet and simple. It's the perfect bedtime story especially for those where a family member is traveling and has to be away for a bit. It's such a sweet way to remind kids that their loved ones are always in their hearts and they are always thinking of them too. In my house we would talk about praying for our loved ones as a way of sending "moon mail" but the great thing is, it's written in such a way that anyone can use it, regardless of beliefs. While it does lend itself well to the Christian household, it's really for anyone who has a loved one that's far away and needs a reminder of them and their love.*I received a free copy in exchange for my honest review
