About the Author

Christina Bauer thinks that fantasy books are like bacon: they just make life better. All of which is why she writes romance novels that feature demons, dragons, wizards, witches, elves, elementals, and a bunch of random stuff that she brainstorms while riding the Boston T. Oh, and she includes lots of humor and kick-ass chicks, too. Christina lives in Newton, MA with her husband, son, and semi-insane golden retriever, Ruby. She loves to connect with her fans at

Moonlight and Midtown was a fun, lighthearted read. Overall, the story is mostly fluff, not that there’s anything wrong with that. However, I was rather confused as I read through it, because the story didn’t match the synopsis. There certainly weren’t any “mysterious strangers…following Bry across Manhattan.” I also feel as though I got cheated out of an important part of the story at the end. I won’t share any spoilers, but I wish the book had continued for another half hour or so of story time. In general, though, Moonlight and Midtown was enjoyable.
