I'm really not a reader but this book held my attention. With each chapter, I couldn't wait to see what the next one held! K.A. Minton has made a reader out of me. His descriptive use of words are a gift from God. You feel as if you are there on the pages with the character. This author has a lot to offer and I can't wait to read more of his work!

A corporate account executive by day and amateur singer by night, Monique "Paris" Stevens has dreams of finally making it big - only in the music industry, not in the world of business. Sure, she's used to being told that it'll be too hard, that she'll never make it, that it's only a pipe dream - but none of that ever comes close to deterring the sheer resolve of her will. What Monique doesn't count on, though, are the surprisingly prominent roles that love, sex, heartache, death - and even self-destruction - will eventually play in forging her destiny, and in the face of such potentially devastating challenges, she is ultimately forced into the unenviable position of determining what truly matters most in her life... Timely and compelling, Moonlight Over Paris is a heartrending tale of the gritty realities of life. In Monique, author K.A. Minton has successfully crafted a protagonist to which readers of all ages and backgrounds will surely relate: we all have dreams, and - like Monique - at some point we resolve to let nothing get in the way of our achieving them; however, when the vicissitudes of life come along and throw us for a loop, it often takes a strength that many of us lack to keep ourselves from giving up on the things that matter most. As such, Monique's personal quest to see her dreams fulfilled - as well as her concomitant march toward self-discovery - serve as a powerful model for anyone who has found him/herself similarly conflicted in the search for true fulfillment. Raw and real, Moonlight Over Paris is a stirring account of the indomitable nature of the human spirit. A truly engrossing read. Renee Washburn Apex Reviews

Nothing but great expectations from this new author! Moonlight Over Paris is a wonderful read, I finished it in 2 days! Considering this was the debut novel for Minton, he did exceptionally well. Both the characters and storylines were very well developed and not predictable, keeping the reader anxious to know "what's next?". The exerpt from his next novel, By Their Fruits..., has me keeping my eyes on the calendar for its anticipated summer release! Can't wait!

For this being K.A. Mintons debut book I thought this was well written. I like the story line and his style. I enjoyed it from begining to end. It kept my attention and I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. K.A. Minton is a new black author and I think he has a good future in writing, I was very impressed with this first effort. I can't wait for his next piece.
