The MoonQuest: A True Fantasy by Mark David Gerson

In a land where fear rules and storytelling spells death, only one bard's imagination can end the tyranny. Here, as black-clad armies terrorize the countryside, Toshar and his three companions must follow a trail of stories to the source of the moon's dimmed light. A gripping and epic adventure rich with universal truth.

"Those were exceptional times, the darkest of ages, a land where 'once upon a time' was a forbidden phrase and fact the only legal tender. That was the land I was born into, a land of slaughtered bards, a land dulled and divided by fear. That was Q’ntana, and this is its story, and mine...a story that begins once upon a time..."

Book I of Mark David Gerson's popular Q'ntana Trilogy. (Get The StarQuest, Book II, on Nook too!)
Winner of five national and regional awards.

Soon to be a major motion picture.

The Moonquest: A True Fantasy by Mark David Gerson is the first book of a fascinating and entertaining trilogy. Imagine a land where storytelling is outlawed and punishable by death. Can you even imagine such a land? "In a land where fear rules and storytelling spells death, only one bard's imagination can end this tyranny." This is not just a book; this is whole new phenomenon, a whole new world. When I read this book to my granddaughters, their eyes opened wide, the look on their precious faces were.....well, awe inspiring. They enjoyed it so much the first time, they asked that I read it again, which I enjoyed immensely. Young and old will enjoy reading the words of this creative and talented wordsmith. He writes this story as no one else ever could.

We are each a living story, threads in the tapestry of humanity's cultural story. The tapestry holds the stories of humanity's unfolding through the eons of time. Each period in humanity's journey a reweaving of the cultural tapestry . There has always been a "Once upon a time" and always will. Thus we each are on/in our own MoonQuest, as too humanity. Mark David is an insightful writer and storyteller offering you a story to help you find the story of you and your place within the new story of humanity. Read it and begin your journey. ~ Richasu
