I have been waiting for a new and updated version of a daily meditation by Melody Beattie and here it is. I have been reading the same book for over 6 years and still find that the daily meditations are quite helpful. This new book is just that, NEW. It's exciting to open a book daily in the morning and be able to focus my energy towards the good and positive with the help of the words written in this book.

Each day brings me closer to my true self. The activities make you think. I can see how it has changed my thinking. I couldn't really understand the twelve steps for years and now I am actually incorporating them into my life. This is a wonderful book for those who are ready to make a change. It only takes a little bit day by day to make a big difference. Melody has opened up her life experience for others to learn from. Thanks Melody!

This book is a Godsend! Dealing with issues myself, I needed to let go of some hurts that I had gone through, and with this book of daily devotionals all on the topic of "letting go and letting God" this book seemed to speak right to my heart on days when I needed it most. I had trouble waiting to read them daily... I wanted to devour the whole book at once! If you buy this book, you will not be sorry. It will be money well spent!!

This book is wonderfully written, easy to read and apply to your life. I'm a spiritual person and thought that I turned things over to God. Reading this book has taught me HOW to really let go and let it be. God doesn't need any help! I'm taking care of myself and living, thanks to Melodie's wonderful books.

This is simply an amazing book. Giving the reader a daily topic in growth, love, acceptance, happiness, forgiveness, etc... Just open the page for that date (or read as you want and/or need) and honestly let the days affirmation/meditation sink into your mind and body. Melody Beattie is second to none in the field of copdependency and just plain living life in a fuller and peaceful way. This book is highly recommended for people of all sexes, religions, race, social status, etc... This book also makes an amazingly thoughtful and useful gift to pass on.

the book was just really good. Between the stories of the authors life, and the ativities in the book, i could literally feel the weight and stress being lifted from my shoulders. I have never really been that stressed in my life, i really only got the book because i thought it sounded really cool. But when i was done with each day, i felt i was getting rid of stress i had pent up from long ago. i say you should read this book!! i would suggest this book to anyone of my friends!!

My Heroine !!!! A wonderful way to learn more about taking care of yourself. She has magnificent metophors down to earth that make sooo much sense . She has a heartfelt way that shows you through her experiences how to take back control of your life by learning how others have suffered and used that as avenue to achieve such enlightenment!
