This is not a book review just a plea. I would really like to read this book but I can't start the series because book one, More Than This is not available on my nook. The rest of the books are but not the first one. When I looked it up on goodreads it has kindle edition next to it. Will it ever be available for those of us who own a nook?

Cam and Lucy's story. Cam and Lucy's story! I feel like I've been waiting on this forever, so I was over the flipping moon to get an early look at it as part of this blitz. It was so good, y'all. If you've been loving this series so far, go buy this book immediately. You will not be sorry. Lucy's been my favorite character in the More series since the very first book. I loved that she was a bookworm and thoroughly appreciated the bookish references thrown in. It always made me smile when I could figure out which book she was talking about without a title ever being mentioned. Lucy is sassy and feisty and that's my favorite type of female character. She and Cam always made a fantastic couple while they were in the background of other characters' stories, so I couldn't wait to see them shine and learn more about them. I knew I liked Cam with Lucy, but I never had a strong read on his character on his own until I read this book. OMG this kid. I. Love. Cam. He's so sweet and thoughtful and just an all-around good guy. He's one of the least complicated, swooniest good book boyfriends I've met in a long time. He's also sexy, funny, artistic and intelligent. Total package, right? Right. More Than Forever spans a long period of time – from Cam and Lucy meeting in their early teens until they're in college. For a long time, it seemed like everything with them would be totally rosy and nothing could come between them. Well, I was silly for actually believing that because this is a Jay McLean book and there has to be a twist or two in there. And there was. There was also the frustrating lack of communication between characters that made me want to yell at them – but only because I love 'em so much and hated watching them make mistakes. There was no sitting this book down once I started reading it. Cam and Lucy were so freaking cute as they started out, and they just got better from there. I loved the dynamic between them and adored their banter. Of course, as their relationship grew, things got sexier and there are some pretty steamy scenes here. *fans self* More Than Forever wasn't all romance, though. There's a great focus on friendship and family, particularly Cam's relationship with his mom's boyfriend. They just made me smile. More Than Forever was a great addition to the More series. It's also my favorite book in the series so far. It was the best of what Jay McLean has to offer – likable characters, a wonderful pairing, great romance, fun sexy times, humor and a ton of heart, and just enough strife to make it real, but not overly angsty. If you're a fan of new adult and not reading this series, you should be. I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Stealing one of Jay's taglines and altering it a bit... if there was a picture of True Love, it would be Lucy and Cameron. Their story, their love... so profound and inspiring. Through the good and the bad, they still love. I laughed, I cried, I raised my eyebrows, I frowned... I felt so much as I read Cam and Lucy's story. I wish this book never had to end and we could keep going on and on finding out what happens with Lucy and Cam the next day and the next day and the day after that because their story would never get old... it would just continue to inspire.  One of the best reads of 2014 thus far. An absolute 5-star story that's going to stay with me for a long time.

Let me start by saying that I love this series. L.O.V.E. Now I have to admit that when I first saw that book 4 was going to be Cam and Lucy's story, I was a bit perplexed. I didn't think they needed their own book since they were always together through the events of the first 3 books. Boy, I could have not been more wrong. This story was amazing. Do NOT read this before the others. All books in the More series must be read in order. So Cam and Lucy. Lucy and Cam. We first met them at Senior Prom back in More Than This. Lucy the loyal and quiet bookworm and Cam the charming and sweet hottie. Throughout the years that follow in college, they are always their in the background. Always together and always in love. I had absolutely no idea what was going on for these two behind the scenes. More Than Forever starts with 15 year old Cam and Lucy. Lucy has just lost her mom and her family is floundering. With 6 younger brothers to care for and a father that has mentally checked out, the weight is too much for her young shoulders to bear alone. Though she refuses to ask for help, Cam steps in and gives it anyway. But why? They aren't friends. Heck, they've never even spoken before. It doesn't matter though because Cam needs to help her. Needs to know her. He is there for her when she breaks and he helps to put the pieces back together. But that is only the very beginning of their story and what follows is a sweet but heart breaking journey for true love. If you thought it can only get easier after that start, you're wrong. Through high school and college, Cam and Lucy navigate storm after storm, some together and some apart. Their story made me laugh my ass off and then cry my heart out. While I loved all the books in this series, my hands down favorite has been the first one. Jake is just.... Jake. Sigh. But this story blew my mind and is now tied for first place. Jay McLean is truly a master New Adult writer. She capture's all that teenage angst painfully yet beautifully and threads it all into a story that has you enthralled from start to finish. Her stories are emotional and captivating and always have me ready for More. I don't think I could get enough of her writing. Ever.

Deserving of More Than 5 Stars From the beginning of this series by the amazing Jay McLean I have always had a special place in my heart for Cam and Lucy. They always seemed like a great couple and Lucy always had me laughing. I have eagerly awaited this book, and believe me it was worth the wait!!! Cam comes in to Lucy's life at the tender age of 15 and at a time when her world is falling apart. Luckily for Lucy, Cam navigates his way in to Lucy's life and ultimately in to her heart. Just like the other books in this series, the writing is done so well that you are immersed in the story. You laugh when they laugh, your cry when they cry, and in the end you get the warm fuzzy feeling from being with the love of your life, your forever.  It was great getting the super sweet parts of the beginning of their relationship. Cameron really stands out as quite the amazing guy. Dare I say he just may put Jake and Logan to shame. But the I remembered from past books that something goes down with Cam and Lucy but I don't think we ever really knew what it was. Let me just say, getting the full picture, I literally was getting sick to my stomach. I wanted to smack Cameron upside the head... my heart broke for Lucy.  But with a love like theirs, I had no doubt it would all work out. Lines I loved: "Give us a minute," Dad says to Virginia. More like Vagina. "You make my world stop, Lucy." "But he did it; he made my impossible possible. And he had absolutely no idea he was  doing it."  Parts I loved: The brain/body dialogue Learning the name of the lady in the bookstore What Lucas says to Cameron about watching Lucy So there you have it. Another great book by Jay McLean. Can't wait to read what she writes next.

So, I really love the other books in the series….like seriously in LOVE with this series. So I had some major – and I mean MAJOR – expectations for More Than Forever. Plus, it was about the two characters that I have been dying to read about it. So going into this book I was kind of expecting it to be either super awesome or a disappointment…. Luckily for me, More Than Forever was A-MAZ-ING! Everything about it was so perfect. The characters were unique and well written. Jay McLean managed to give them their own unique personalities and I loved how individual they were. They definitely weren’t two-dimensional. Lucy was so heartbreaking yet easy to relate to. Her past and what she believes in made the book so much better to read. Cameron was just the perfect male lead in this book. He was drool worthy in every way and I loved how mature he was yet sensitive. Every action was meant to help others.  Of course this book had some drama. I mean, how lame would it be without some heart wrenching twist that would make me want to scream and cry to the point where I almost threw my nook across the room?….super lame. That’s why this author tore my heart out and put it on a stake when she wrote in the plot twist. There is no other way to write an interesting read. --- I wasn’t this understanding when I first read the book, but now that I got the chance to calm down and re-read I do understand why Jay McLean had to hurt me in this way…. she did it for the book ---    One thing that struck me as kind of awesome was the way that the book progressed. It was almost like I was growing up along with Lucy and Cameron as the author took me from the very beginning of their relationship to the ‘end’.  --- ‘end’ is a relative term that could mean anything from the end of their relationship to the end of the book. --- I would actually consider reading this book before More Than This just because it is set before that book and doesn’t give too much away. But that’s just me. Even with the drama and the crying – my crying – this book is one of the best I’ve read and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an fan-tabulous read.

I am so in love with this book that it’s without a doubt a 5+ rating. Lucy and Cameron’s story makes you believe that with love anything is possible. It shows that young love can heal a broken soul and that love can grow and evolve over time. That’s not to say Lucy and Cam’s relationship is all rainbows and unicorns. They have their struggles both as a couple and separately as most of us do and are hit with a one- two punch that left me crying big fat ugly tears in my car. At first I was nervous about how the time line was going to progress but after the first jump, I must give it to Ms. Mclean that she came up with a different way of making that happen while still letting the readers experience all there was between these two. I must say I have enjoyed this series and while I want to jump right into the final book, I am also hesitant to do so as I’m not ready to say goodbye to these amazing bunch of friends.

When I first ran across More Than This on Amazon, I never expected to develop a borderline-unhealthy obsession with a book series. But that's exactly what happened. Ever since the accident that brought Jake (and his sexy accent) and Mickey together, I have been undeniably and shamelessly hooked.  At the beginning of More Than This I handed Jay my heart. In More Than Her, she shredded it, stomped on the dirty pieces and laughed at my tears. In More Than Him, she apologized and put me back together. Now, in More Than Forever, she's done it all all over again. And me, being the masochist I am, am eagerly waiting for the next go-round. More Than Forever is the long-awaited story of Lucy! Oh, and Cameron. This time around, we get to see another side to our usually so spunky Lucy. After losing her mother, Lucy's world begins to crumble around her until Cameron, her little brother's baseball coach, starts showing up to help keep her brothers occupied. Watching Cameron's devotion and dedication to Lucy, even when she doesn't acknowledge him, is heart-warming. Not only does he step in and help take care of her brother's but he tries so hard to be the strength and support she desperately needs. He holds her when she falls apart, and makes sure that she's eaten. It's the little things he does, and the way he takes care of her, that make not only Lucy, but anyone who reads, fall in love with him.  I fell in love watching Cameron and Lucy fall in love. I fell apart watching them fighting with one another. And it broke my heart seeing them fighting for each other. But throughout all the ups and downs, the heartbreak, and pain and happiness, they fight with everything they have to bring each other back to the reason they were together in the first place. Their love. Their forever.  Jay has a way of writing perfectly sweet love stories without making them perfect. She writes characters you want to love. Jay took our spunky, mouthy Lucy and made her into someone you can idolize. She made her strong, even if she didn't believe in herself. She made Lucy so much more than a drunk comment. She gave her heart and soul. Jay made us want that kind of love. The kind of love you fight for. The kind you'd do anything for.  And I'm just going to throw this out there... I have never loved secondary characters the way I love the ones in the More series. From Logan's dad to Marky-Mark, Jay writes all of her characters as if they're main characters. She has an incredible way of writing them so that you feel like it's their story you've been reading.  From the first chapter of More Than Forever, Jay kept me crying. Whether it was from laughing or heartbreak. Since More Than This, Jay has been the author on top of my Will Read Anything By list.  I received a complementary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This in no way shaped or influenced my opinion.

First, you will need/want to read the other More books in the series before this one. Second, if you haven't read those yet? You are missing out on wonderfulness. Go do it now... I'll wait... Ok, so More Than Forever is Cam and Lucy's story. I had no idea two people could be more perfect for each other. I am going to put some words down, but in all truthfulness, there are no words that can accurately portray what I feel when I read Jay's books, and this book is no exception. I was a mess, I was hiding in the bathroom at work nonetheless, because I couldn't put this down. What was I doing in said bathroom? Blubbering, full on sobbing. So much that someone knocked on the door and asked if I needed anything. Yep, that happened. This book makes you feel a rainbow of emotions, happiness, sadness, sauciness, trepidation, and joy. Plus everything in-between. Just read this book, it is fantastic. I need more!

I will love this book for MORE THAN FOREVER! <3<3<3 So, I was already TOTALLY in love with Cam and Lucy before I read this book. They play some major roles in their friends' lives in the first three books, and you can't help but enjoy them as secondary characters. I felt like I had been waiting FOREVER for Cam and Lucy's story, but it was ABSOLUTELY worth the wait! (And P.S. I hope you have stock in Kleenex, because you're going to need it!) I'm pretty sure I say this in every single one of my reviews for the books in this series, but this book will take your heart, rip it to shreds, and yet help you pick up the pieces, put them back together, and somehow make everything even better than it was to start with. It is impossible not to fall in love with Jay McLean's characters. And Cam and Lucy are no exception to this rule. It's not that they never do anything wrong, or you're never mad at them (I'm pretty sure I almost busted my computer a couple times while reading this!) but they are perfect in their imperfection. They will make you laugh, make you cry, make you smile, make you will know these people inside and out by the time you reach the end of the book. And YES, they are PEOPLE, not just characters. That's how well developed the story, characters, backstories, etc. are. Jay McLean's writing is beautiful, and heartbreaking, and...GAH! It will just give you ALL THE FEELS! While I was reading this, I even messaged Jay at one point to yell at her because I couldn't keep reading the story because I couldn't see the words through the tears! :) And we can't leave out the secondary characters! I used to say Dr. Matthew's was my favorite secondary character in the series...but he's got some pretty stiff competition in Cam's mom's boyfriend, Mark. He is just such an all-around awesome guy, and even if he's not Cam's "parent" he is such a fantastic role-model, parental figure, whatever you want to call him. He's awesome! I just <3 him!

I have loved this entire series. I was extremely fortunate back when I was just starting this blog to get the opportunity to review More Than This (back when it had the original cover) and loved immensely. That story has stuck with me and I was so excited to read every book in this series. More than Forever was no exception. These characters have so much personality and feeling that I can easily picture them in my mind. The story easily pulled me in, enticing me to feel every emotion and share in these wonderful characters’ lives. When they first meet, Cameron and Lucy are total opposites (at least in the world of high school). Cameron is into sports and is outgoing. Lucy is a bookworm and shy. I fell in love with these two immediately (although I’ve had a fondness for them since book 1). They have personality and depth. They really come across as people in real life and not just a fictional story. I found myself tearing up over Lucy’s loss and swooning over Cameron’s sweet and caring attitude towards not only Lucy, but also her brothers. Jay McLean has managed, yet again, to take two fantastic characters, send them on life’s journey of love, and make you want to go along for the ride. The story tugged at my heart and pulled me into the More Series world yet again. This was a fantastic story full of sorrow, healing, love, discovery, and even a few scenes to get that blood boiling a bit. I absolutely loved this story along with the rest of the series and can guarantee I will be reading ANYTHING Jay McLean puts out in the future. Wonderful job and 5 out 5 stars!

Cam and Lucy's story goes to show that what appears on the surface isn't always what it seems. I loved how the story starts with the beginning of them in high school and how it has always been Lucy for Cam. To start at 15 and to just grow from there says something about how strong their feelings are for each other. Their problems really don't start until their second year in college. Some problems are petty while others are heartbreaking. The ending is satisfying but at the same time makes me wanting to know how things turn out in the next chapter of their lives. I hope that there are more in this series and if so, I just can't wait.
