(3.75- 4 stars) I was a little worried at the beginning that I wasn’t going to enjoy this one. The timeline at the start gave me whiplash. Then a bit unbelievable was that one-minute Logan is in love with Mikayla but after one conversation with a buddy he realizes he isn’t. Once the timeline slowed down and I got over that in love/friend love bit, I did enjoy Amanda and Logan’s story. I was panicking towards the end but then calmed down after finding out their story would continue in the following book. I can’t wait to read book three and see what’s next for these two.

http://hulsey2007bookblog.blogspot.com/ This story just had me emotionally in so many ways. I got way too involved in just this book. This is the 2nd book. So go read the first book first. Logan just grew on me. I didnt know how I would feel going into this. Because I had such strong feelings during the first book with Jake and Mikhayla I just loved their story. But Logan and Amanda's story is completely different. You still see Jake and Mikhayla inside this book. But this is all about Logan and Amanda. Logan is messed up in his own way. His story is different from Jake. It really touches at your heart and you fall in love with Logan, You just swoon the whole time your reading this and then it breaks your heart and puts it back together again. By the ending of this story, I did not realize it would end that way. I was freaking out. I was expecting a happy ending, but it was different. So right then I just had to buy book 3. You just get so captured by this story. If you havent read it. You MUST go do that. Such an overwhelming story. Easy characters to fall in love with. Just go read this series. Her fans are called Jaybirds. So go read these stories. And fall in love with them just like I did. Become a Jaybird fan. 5+ stars.

Logan. Logan. Logan. Dear sweet, sexy Logan. All of the mistakes you make are enough drive this girl insane. I loved the little bit we got of Logan in More Than This so I could not wait for his story. Now we finally get to be inside Logan's head a little bit to see what he is thinking. And inside his head is not an easy place to be. When he met Amanda a year ago, they had an amazing connection and a great sex-free night together. But he screwed it up. Now they are both at the same college and though she manages to avoid him for a while, they are now thrown together on a daily basis. How long can she resist his charm? Not very long and I can't say I blame her. Logan is hot, funny and charming and underneath that smugness is actually a sweet guy. This book drove me absolutely insane, but I loved every minute of it. I loved their chemistry together and yeah the steamy sex. But it was also painful to see them both not communicating to each other and making so many mistakes. There is enough angst in here to fill a swimming pool and at times it made me want to pull out my hair or smack the hell out of these two. Logan for continually pushing Amanda away even though he loves her and Amanda for letting him. I generally liked Amanda, but dammit if the girl loved him half as much as she claimed to, then she should have fought harder for him. And then came the ending. The ending that literally had me screaming out loud "WTH?" I had no clue there was a cliffhanger here, which doesn't necessarily bother me, but it just totally blindsided me. I was not expecting the book to end the way it did at all. Thankfully we don't have to wait long for book 3, More Than Him, which is due to release in February 2014. But something tells me that is going to be a painful one too.

I didn't love this book like I did the first. I felt like Logan, who is all about moments, let a little bit too much of his past control his future. Amanda was ridiculous in the end. Her reaction was unjustified in my opinion. Amanda is extremely immature throughout the entire book and that irritated the ever living crude outta me. I didn't feel like her and Logan should even be together - and I felt that way from the very beginning. Considering her best friend was only mentioned in a handful of pages I felt like she was a self-centered brat. Not a fan of this one. I will read the next because I want to hear more about Logan - Amanda can take a hike.

this book had me completely addicted from page one. i loved the alternating POVs, you really get an insight into the world that is Logan and Amanda, boy was i suprised to find that the girl he loves was Amanda. now be warned there is a cliffhanger ending to this book but atleast the next one comes out in feb so its not a long wait. i love Jay's writing, ire really draws you in, it makes you laugh with the characters, expecially lucy, shes a crack up :) and it makes you cry. i thought that i was in love with Jack from more than this, but i think i more than like logan :D i cannot wait to continue logan and amanda's journey in feb :) and i know that il be getting this in paperback and putting it onto my Faves bookcase :D keep the awesome stories coming jay!!!!

Let me start by saying I loved the first book, More Than This, and if you have not read that yet you should start there. Now I loved Jake in the first book and he still is the better book boyfriend, but Logan was so funny in the first book and I couldn't wait to read his story, and let me just say it was worth the wait. In this book we get Logan's story and get to meet Amanda again, she was briefly mentioned in the first book. We initially get the story in alternating past/present scenarios and it gives us some interesting background on Logan and Amanda. The story then goes on in alternating POV between Logan and Amanda. I love that the old gang is back from the first book, especially Lucy, I loved her in the first. The same funny comments from her coupled with Amanda's feisty nature and Logan's, well everything about him, make for an entertaining story. Grandmas smell like Band-Aids mothballs and oranges. Initially, even though I was enjoying the story, I sort of felt like it was not going to live up to the first. Then we get to the final 10% of the book and McLean rocks my happy little world. Holy cow, something happens that I just did not expect. My heart started to break and I could not read fast enough to find out what was going to happen. What happens, tears fell and I am left feeling empty. Now I patiently wait until this Spring. I so hate the winters in the midwest but the real reason I will be looking forward to the Spring will be so I can read More Than Him. Favorite Lines: "You. Are. Ruining DEAN HOLDER!" "Dude it is Tuesday...and they are Hoovering." "I spent most of my high school years so far in the closet I was having adventures in Narnia." "We're goint to make new memories. Ones that you aren't afraid of. And it's going to be amazing." "I can't give you much, or anything at all. But when I say those words to you, it won't just be words--It will be me giving you something that means something."
