The book is about some of the important human inventions that arose from an understanding of the natural adaptations that made evolution possible. One of the reasons for writing the book was to show teenagers, especially inner city teenagers like the ones in my biology class, that they can make a lot of money by applying their knowledge of biology, and should therefore pay attention in class. The book clearly shows them that the "science dealer" makes more money than the "dope dealer" without the fear of getting shot or going to jail. This book can turn our children into the scientists and inventors of tomorrow.
