Wow what a surprise! To be honest, I just picked up this album at the library because it looked interesting enough and I decided to give it a try. What an album. Jason embodies my favorite trait in an artist: VERSATILITY! Every single song on this album was a different experience from the last. Absolute Ear Candy!

This is by far his best work to date. His choice of eclectic sounds and creative words makes him my number one choice. You go Jason, You go!!!!

This is an amazing CD. I fell in love with 'Waiting for my Rocket to Come' and the long wait for 'Mr. A-Z' was totally worth it. Jason Mraz has a whole style of his own and has fun, quick lyrics that are different and make me feel optimistic...not sad like so many of the other current artists do.

Jason Mraz shows his versatility on this, his sophmore set. A few tracks are set in the 'rocket' mold, but he expands his pallette on songs like "Life is Wonderful" and "Did You Get My Message?". I'm always interested to see what an artist comes up with, especially when their first outing was a success. Jason is not afraid to try new things, and that's usually a good thing. If you enjoyed his debut, he's heading down a slightly different road, so jump on board with him. Rock on Jason!!

Jason Mraz's new album is markedly different than his debut “Waiting for My Rocket to Come” in many ways. "Mr. A-Z" is a refreshing and strong follow up to a great album. It seems that Jason Mraz on Mr. A-Z has grown up a bit, and the new album shows and older, more mature songwriter. Turning away from his “street prophet” persona, “Mr. A-Z” shows that Mraz has undergone major development as both a songwriter and musician. Songs like “Wordplay,” although playful, display this new sensibility. Although the album is a bit more polished than its predecessor and seems to aim at making larger waves, none of the songwriting integrity that put Jason Mraz on the map in the first place has been lost. What results is an album by an artist coming into bloom. I’m glad that Jason Mraz is still able to take chances.
