I Have been devouring all of Ms. Reynolds variations since I discovered her last year. She excels at staying true to the characters and and the period. Every one of her books has a unique plot and remains enjoyable on rereading. She places direct quotations from the original P&P in the text and it's like discovering a treasure each time I find one. This book begins with Elizabeth rejecting and destroying Mr. Darcy's famous letter before reading it. Her ignorance of George Wickham's true character causes many complications which make the plot an enjoyable one to follow. I especially liked how Lydia's fate is handled in this story. If you have never read Ms. Reynold's works, I would recommend any of them to the Jane Austen fan.
