Alan Lightman, an active research scientist in astronomy and physics, has taught at both Harvard and MIT. His novels include Einstein's Dreams, which was an international bestseller; Good Benito; The Diagnosis, which was a finalist for the National Book Award; and Reunion. His essays have appeared in the New York Review of Books, New York Times, Nature, Atlantic Monthly, and the New Yorker.
Ray Porter has appeared in numerous films and television shows and garnered two Audie® nominations as well as multiple Earphones Awards and enthusiastic reviews for his sparkling narration of audiobooks. A fifteen-year veteran of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, he lives in Los Angeles with his wife and son.
