Mr. Jones & Me by Lindsay Marie Miller is the follow up to her Forbidden Fruit Series featuring Cabel Jones and Finley. I was so happy to see that this book came out as I loved the first book and needed more Finley and Cabel in my life. Book 2 is really about Finley, giving the reader great insight into her as a character, showcasing just what the relationship between Cabel and Finley is about. Finley is a busy 22-year-old woman with graduate school and Cabel. She attempts to find balance in her life, but her past issues don’t seem to allow her to be far from Cabel’s side. When the past comes knocking at their door, it is going to take all that Finley has, and Cabel’s love to show just how strong they are together. This was such an amazing follow up book, I couldn’t put it down even if I tried. I loved the ebb and flow of both Finley and Cabel, the way that their characters moved together and interacted made them so real to me. I totally recommend this book to anyone and everyone, but caution that it does need to be read after reading book one, I say this because without having the beginning of C&F’s story, this book will be lost in translation. I have read several of Miller’s books in the past, and have loved every one of them. I hope that she continues this series, because I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Mr. Jones & Me: A Professor Student Romance (Forbidden Fruit Book 2) by Lindsay Marie Miller is the second book in her Forbidden Fruit series. I would highly suggest reading the first book before this one as it will help enrich your enjoyment from this series plus some of the characters are the same and it will give you the background information on them. This story is easy reading and will pull you in from the very beginning. Her characters are both connectable and lovable. They will take you on an emotional roller coaster ride as well as some twists and turns that you won't see coming. This is the continuation of Finley and Cabel's story. It picks up where Finley is now 22 years old. She is a grad student and trying to be a good wife to Cabel. She is trying to find a happy balance with everything but she isn't getting enough time with Cabel. Then Cabel's past comes into the picture. What will happen when his ex shows up at school? She is pretty determined to get him back but will Cabel and Finley's love be strong enough to get them through this? Will Finley trust Cabel or will she walk away from him? This is a story of true test of love for them but the question still remains, are they strong enough to make it over this lump in their relationship. Finley really truly is a strong character with trust issues. Even when she thinks she don't have them, you can still see them in her. I understand where she is coming from but I just wanted to help her trust Cabel. I did feel compassion for her because she does go through so much emotional things in this book as you will see when you read it. Cabel is a strong character but I am not sure what to think about him. At one point I liked him but yet I wasn't sure that I was trusting him nor liked him. There is just something about him that he is not saying. The secondary characters in this book are not exactly the nicest but they do make the story and the twists over the top. You don't want to miss this book, I highly recommend you read it! You need to see what happens to Finley and Cabel and if they find a happy ending.
