The long awaited conclusion to the Mister series is finally here and it is nothing short of spectacular! All the previous books - Mr.'s Perfect - Romantic - Corporate - Mysterious - have been stand-alone books up until now. You must read all these prior to reading Mr. Match, but rest assured every question you have will be answered in a way you never saw coming. Oliver Shrike is our Mister this time around and he lives up to the Shrike name! Every single conspiracy or crazy idea I had while reading this series pales in comparison to what really happened. The tiniest, most miniscule threads are all tied together in a truly epic way. I say this a lot, but JA Huss takes me on a adventure every single time she writes a book and it still shocks me that she has this power to captivate me over and over again every single time :)

I loved every second of this book!!!! I don't know how she keeps it all straight. This was a great ending to the series. Are you ready to see how this all ends? I'm still reeling!!! JA Huss is going to take you on a ride of your life or the lives of the Misters. She will have you on the edge of your seat until the very end and just when you think all is revealed she will add just a little more just because she can and that's how she rolls. I was excited to get Oliver's and Katya's story and Julie does not disappoint!!! Even though Julie wrote these as standalones within a series I highly recommend you start from the beginning as the characters are intertwined throughout this series. I promise they are all worth it!!!

Epic conclusion to an incredible series! Well, it's done. Mr. Match, the fifth book in the Mister series is here and all the questions and events and clues that have been building since book 1 finally come to a head and we get the whole story. I feel kind of bereft today that I've finished and there's no more. As hard as it was to get to the end of the previous 4 books and have to wait for the next one to come out, at least I knew another would be coming, but this is it. Mr. Match is the final book, the only book that you need to have read all 4 of the previous books before getting to this one. Oliver Shrike. I have been waiting not so patiently to get his story. I first met Oliver in Happily Ever After: A Day in the Life of the HEA when he was just five years old. The only boy of Spencer and Veronica Shrike, living with five sisters. I couldn't wait to find out what he was going to be when he grew up, where his life would take him. Reading the first 4 books has filled us in pretty well on how drastically Oliver's life changed when he was just a freshman in college when he and four of his friends were accused of rape. Now, ten years later, he is still running Hook Me Up, an online dating service he started with his sister Ariel when he was just a teenager. Katya Kalashova kept me guessing throughout this book. She's suddenly back in Fort Collins after four years of being away. Why is she back now? Now, when each of the Misters have once again been put through the wringer, still dealing with fallout from the "fateful night" ten years ago? Is she involved with one or possibly more, of the outside forces who seem bound and determined to destroy the Misters? I love how we are taken into Oliver and Katya's heads with the chapters being told in alternating points of view. The flashbacks to the six months Oliver and Katya spent together were some of my favorite moments in the book. Ms. Huss writes steamy sex scenes yes, but she writes the "feels" even better. As she mentions in the EOBS, sometimes sex isn't about the sex, it's about the feels and let me tell you, she nails the feels perfectly. This book kept me on the edge of my seat, had me guessing at every page what was going to happen next. The twists and turns in this story left me spinning. Who is really behind The Silver Society? How do the Russians and Lucio Gori Senior fit into the whole scheme of things? Are the Misters finally going to find some peace and get their happily ever afters? I am so impressed with how Ms. Huss kept all the details straight, and let me tell you, there's a lot of details to remember over the course of 5 books. Once again I pictured a big white board with each of the Misters on it, with lines crisscrossing it tying each clue and scenario together. There were several characters I was glad to see big red X's over their faces, and others I still had a question mark on until the very end. I am anxiously looking forward to Five Aston's book, which will come out later next year. His story is going to be one heck of a ride, I just know it! Brilliant conclusion to the Mister series, Julie!!

First and foremost, I am a little sad to say goodbye to the Mister Series since Julie has taken her fans on one hell of an adventure with Mr. Perfect, Mr. Romantic, Mr. Corporate, Mr. Mysterious and now with Mr. Match. The long awaited conclusion of the series was everything you could have wanted, expected, and needed from J.A. Huss. "You express me better than I express myself. You shall be more to me than my poem.” So who is Mr. Match? Well, it’s none other than Oliver Shrike. Yeah, if that name sounds familiar then I know you know who is parents are. Who can forget Veronica and Spencer’s only son? Oliver Shrike is the perfect combination of his mom and dad since he is indeed the modern gentleman as he is both sexy, intriguing, mysterious, and dirty. Oliver runs a matchmaking service with his sister, Ariel. His company matches couples to find love. Or does it? While Oliver’s real work may be up for questioning, his personal life is pretty much tight lip. Oliver keeps everything about his past life secretive especially when it comes to the matters of the heart. And so when he comes across a video file on his matchmaking company, he is surprised to see Katya Kalashova. "I told you,” I say, “that when you came back I’d kiss you everywhere. That I’d still love everything about you. That your scars are my scars. We can own them together.” Four years ago, Katya Kalashova was a seventeen year girl who got involved with Oliver Shrike. Their love affair was a bit unconventional as these two were sexually and emotionally attracted to each other. They both kept secrets and yet every scar, pain, and emotions were visibly unspoken. They both knew that this thing between them was the real deal. But what happens, when the fairy tale romance comes to an abrupt end? Katya Kalashova had to leave Oliver Shrike. She knew it would hurt but in order to save her sister and Oliver, she had to do it. And so when she returns back to Colorado, the first person that she wants to see is him. When she sends him a private video, the ball is in Oliver’s court on whether he wants to meet and see her again. "She is more to me than my poem.” Oliver makes the first move now that Katya is back. He makes it known to her that this time she can’t run away from him again. He knows that she has secrets but he will stop at nothing in order to help her. It is only a matter of trust. Will Katya be able to tell Oliver the whole truth? And what is Katya’s role in the Silver Society? For four books, Julie has laid out the clues and missing puzzle pieces and in this final installment, the answer to who is after the Misters are answered. With Julie’s meticulously and cunning prose, JA has readers on edge as she reveals the truth. While the big picture is exposed, it leaves readers like myself greedy for more as characters like Ariel, Five, and Rory deserves to get their happily ever after also. So here is me wishing that these characters get a book in 2017. "Oliver Shrike is tender and caring. Deep and complicated. He is poetry incarnate. There is not one damn thing about him that requires adjustment or modification. Not his temperament. Not his body. Not his mind. He is perfection.” Okay before I go off tangent, I will say that Mr. Match was brilliantly executed. Oliver Shrike’s story was told in a way that fit his persona. He was a perfect symphony of bold, alpha, sweet, romantic, and dirty. And as for Katya, she was indeed his perfect match. She wa

Fantastic Finish to a Fabulous Series! Mr. Match is the fifth and final book in J.A. Huss’ Misters Series. While each book is supposed to be written so that they could be standalones, I do not feel that is the case with Mr. Match. It is not only Oliver Shrike’s story; it is the culmination of the series where each prior book is tied together. I love each book and “mister” in this series, but Oliver is my favorite. He is the complete package; he’s absolutely perfect. It’s impossible not to fall in love with this mister. Oliver Shrike takes after his father, Spencer. He is seriously chiseled, good looking, and inked up. This man also has a romantic soul like Spencer Shrike, and he is fiercely devoted to and protective of the women in his life. “I will throw everything away to keep her.” –Oliver Ms. Huss artfully shows Oliver’s vulnerability and loneliness through a poem tattooed on his chiseled abs. Song of the Open Road reflects Oliver as trapped and yearning to be free and understood. Katya Kalashova mysteriously reappears at a significant point in Oliver’s life. He doesn’t see the connection because he has been smitten with the young blonde from the moment he laid eyes on her. She is scarred, scared and leads a life filled with lies. She’s one of these delicious characters who are not easily pegged in the protagonist or antagonist column until the end. The secrets of the nefarious Silver Society are laid open as Mr. Match’s story unfolds. Through the dual narration of Katya and Oliver, readers learn of the vast number of secrets each is keeping as well as the long-reaching forces influencing and controlling their lives. Huss’ masterful story telling allows her to create epic, suspenseful conspiracy thrillers that are artfully woven together. She has included many secondary characters from all the books in the series in the explosive zenith of Mr. Match. She has also included little tidbits from her Rook & Ronin series and spin-offs that will delight her long-time fans. “Don’t look at what you lost, look at what you have left.” –Oliver Throughout most of this book, I felt the deep sadness of the characters. The sense of dread didn’t tie me in knots as much as it made me feel some of the characters’ sense of hopelessness, but those Mrs.’ to the misters gave me hope. Behind every good mister is a great mistress (or sister) nudging him in the right direction. Each book of this series has a unique flavor and flow, but Ms. Huss maintained the overall arc of the story going by revealing a little more with each new book. Mr. Match is a wonderfully satisfying series finale.
