The "Mr. Putter and Tabby" series-heartwarming and funny. Every group of second graders I have taught has loved them.
My son who is dyslexic and is learning different and I love the book. We discuss how old Mr. Putter and himself are one in the same. We all have difficulties and one has to learn how to overcome. We have read it many times and always find joy in reading together. Thank you Ms. Rylant in sharing this story and having an 7 year old relate with old Mr. Putter.
