Mr. Reez's Sneezes by Curtis Parkinson, Sami Suomalainen
A cumulative calamities book Mr. Reez lives in a quiet little apartment, with his quiet little dog. Nothing significant ever happens in his life until the day he sprinkles pepper on his salad and the breeze from the open window swirls it up his nose. "AAAAA-chooo!" he gasps. It is a Guinness World Book of Records sort of sneeze that blows Mr. Reez right out the window and across the lawn, just missing a bus. The neighbors lean out their windows to see where the quiet little man from 3C is going.
Mr. Reez is flying at the speed of sound, soaring over a baseball stadium and catching a high fly ball. He speeds over a church where a wedding is taking place and the pastor gets so excited that he marries the wrong couple. Meanwhile, Mr. Reez streaks across a tropical rain forest and bounces into the basket of a hot air balloon where two travelers are sprinkling hot chili pepper on their lunch. Once more Mr. Reez sneezes and this one blows him straight back home.
He settles down once more to his quiet life, quite content to have nothing extraordinary happen to him ever againat least for now.
