About the Author
Award-winning author Linda Glaser is the author of many books for children including Hoppy Hanukkah! and Mrs. Greenberg’s Messy Hanukkah. Her nonfiction picture books Spectacular Spiders, Compost!, and Wonderful Worms were all named Outstanding Science Trade Books for Children by the National Science Teachers Association. In addition to teaching and writing, she conducts writing workshops for schoolchildren and for adults.
Nancy Cote has many fond memories of St. Patrick’s Day. She wore every shade of green imaginable and always hoped she’d find a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. Today she considers her family her pot of gold and feels like the luckiest person in the world because she can write and illustrate children’s books. When Rachel visits with her elderly neighbor, Mrs. Greenburg, what a messy adventure it becomes! For all the children who make a mess when trying to help and for all the adults who keep their patience with them. Cote's colorful illustrations make this book a favorite.
