This book really had you wondering how she would get out of this fix. In the past, I could figure the escape out.....but not in this book. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Mrs. Pollifax and the Hong Kong Buddha is wonderful! It has to be one of my favorite books. It is exciting, informative and the characters are very realistic. I could not put the book down, and I read it within a day. Dorothy Gilman is an incredible author and deserves a lot of praise.

I so thoroughly enjoyed the book and was struck with its relevance to the issues in today's world. Clearly, the present can look to the past to learn valuable lessons. Stephanie Clanahan

You can only believe that you are there. You are in the city, town, village, around the world right along with Mrs. Pollifax. The adventure brings you into the depths of reality, history, language, that she is feeling or going through you are there. What better way to read a book....nothing comes close, nothing.

All of her adventures are great, there are 13 of them. The first is the Unexpected Mrs. Pollifax. They all have a cia plot, but are also humorous. You will want to readthem overand over again.
