Mudd is on a mission to save the earth with his best friends Art and Pie. He lives with Auntie Pine, Uncle Foozle, and their renter Marshmallow. Those aren't their real names, but that's what Mudd calls them. Auntie Pine tells Mudd every day that it is up to him and all other kids to recycle, reuse, and reduce to save the planet. Mudd and his friends really want to help, but their "good' ideas, such as recycling boogers into glue, often backfire. With gentle humor, author Linda Salisbury explores environmental issues--recycling, global warming, saving trees and wild animals, water pollution, littering--in kid terms, and provides tips on what they can really do to help save the earth.
