About the Author

Julia Vradelis and Allison Worrell wrote Muffin Meals with busy families in mind. Both women live on the coast of North Carolina with their families. They have been friends for many years and have enjoyed developing their innovative cookbooks and their contemporary line of bakeware and linens.

Both Julia and Allison lost their Mothers to cancer. It is in their memory that a portion of the proceeds from their books is given to Hospice care.

Love this book! I just got it as a gift recently and we have made many of these recipes already. The recipes are easy to make (with the exception of a few which were a little challenging) and my kids have loved everything so far! They have actually helped make the Sloppy Joe Muffins and the Fajita recipe. We have started making these on Sundays and freezing them for the week. I love what the authors wrote about their Moms and that they are donating a portion of the proceeds to Hospice. These are a great way to have portion control too! I ordered several to give as housewarming gifts. Highly recommend!!

Love, Love this book!! These meals are so quick to put together and the cooking time is less because of the smaller portion size. It really makes those busy nights a little bit easier. I usually try to make extra and freeze some for the nights when dinner is impossible - It saves me from going through the drive thru!! I went back and bought a few more for Christmas gifts for friends. The Buffalo Chicken Wing and the Sloppy Joes are my go to meals, so easy to have all the ingredients on hand. Definitely Recommend !

If you're generally lazy and interested in feeding your family questionable ingredients, and sapping nutritional value out of your meals - this book is for you! It's marketed for busy people or "active men or women", but anyone can assemble much more wholesome meals in a hurry without the "help" of this collection. It is more beneficial for readers to invest their time and money in books written by people who practice good nutrition, nutrition professionals, authors who understand food science, or one can simply find better recipes than this on Pinterest and food blogs. Sites like 100daysofrealfood, authors like Dr. Oz and Michael Pollan, or TV shows, for instance Cooking Channel's 5 ingredients or less, are better platforms to choose. Please do not waste your money to support this low-brow nonsense.
