Paul Derengowski, PhD, was born in Chicago Illinois, in the United States. He attended Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, where he graduated with a BA in Pastoral Theology and Bible. He then moved to Fort Worth, Texas where he earned MDiv and ThM degrees, the latter concentrating on New Testament studies. He earned his PhD from North-West University, Potchefstroom, South Africa; his concentration was in Theology with Dogmatics.

Paul has always had an interest in Christian apologetics, so he later enrolled at Biola University in La Mirada, California, where he earned an MA in Apologetics, graduating with honors. He has also authored The Trinity: Explained and Defended, Biblical Forgiveness Versus Mormon Forgiveness: Why Latter-day Saint Will Die in His Sin, and Letter to an Atheist Village. Paul is also the Founder of Christian Apologetics Project (CAPro), a ministry he started in 2007 to glorify God, edify the church, and respond to questions and criticisms by non-believers in the Christian faith.
