So it's about Emylyn who wants to to do a crime. I know not good. But once she learns her mistakes and finds out the mummy has like tons of gold in it and her "friends" want to ruin it and get all the gold she has to protect it. Things start getting to a sort of high more mild intensity. Regardless of the fact that it isn't too intense you end up knowing Emylyn well and loving her character. I fell in love with the story and i loved how the book ended i just sort of thought wow that hilarious she's going after something else now. Just read it okay? It's worth your while.

Emlyn is your typical, straight A¿s student...with a bad side. She has always been yearning to commit a crime the perfect crime a crime that will never be linked to her. All her life she has been scheming and contemplating how to steal something, anything, but she never had the guts to try. So, when four of her classmates ask her to help them steal an Egyptian mummy from the local museum, Emlyn is delighted. This is the day she has been waiting for. And, as long as they¿re only using the mummy for Mischief Night, Emlyn is not actually stealing, just borrowing. Suddenly, things take an unexpected twist, and Emlyn¿s plan is crumbling down around her. The one thing I did not like was how in the beginning, the book was somewhat slow. Fortunately, it quickly picked up the pace. This book left me at the edge of my seat. I could hardly put the book down and I wanted more. This was an awesome book and I thought it was Caroline B. Cooney¿s best book yet. It was amazing how Caroline was able to put such a great ending which made you wonder, what actually happened? I would personally recommend this book this book to anyone in highschool, but I think girls would like this the most. Fast and easy to read, this is a good book to read if you don¿t like long books. This book almost isn¿t long enough and it left me wanting more. Overall, I think many people would like this creative novel by Caroline B. Cooney. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.

I thought this story had an interesting concept, but in the end it seemed sort of incomplete.

I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE GET MAD AT THE AUTHOR BECASUE IT DOESNT COMPARE TO THERE OTHER ONES. WELL STOP HATING. AN AUTHOR IS AN AUTHOR. COONEY CAN CHANGE HER TYPE OF STYLE OF WRITING IF SHE WANTS TO. I THINK MUMMY IS ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS THAT I HAVE EVER READ. EVERY CHAPTER LEAVES YOU WANTING TO READ THE NEXT. OVER ALL THIS WAS A WELL WRITTEN BOOK. GOOD JOB COONEY

The author Carline B. Cooney, had an excellent twist to the story. Not only did the 'perfect' girl turn not to be perfect, but her 'friends' and the museam ended up being greedy. All that they could think about was money. Emlyn is not greedy, she sees that the mummy as an actual person. Can she keep the mummy intacked? You have to read it to find out!

I just started reading Cooney;'s books, and this one is wonderfull. The story is about a perfect girl, stealing a mummy. She always wanted to do something bad and, stealing a mummy is exactly a bad thing. Her freinds 'helped her', but then they turn to be greed, wanting to cut thre mummy and steal the gold, and now Emilyn has to hide the mummy from the museum, her freinds, from everybody.

I enjoyed this book very much. It¿s a very suspensful book and the realistic way the author writes makes you take part in the action. Personally I felt like I was inside that museum watching over Emlyn¿s actions, being scared many times or thinking on how to help her react in a better way. I think this is a very interesting book and I recommend it to other readers.

If I read this book not knowing the author, Caroline B. Cooney would be my very last guess. She usually hooks you while adding twists and turns, but this was dull and boring. I practially fell asleep reading it. I had to drink lots of caffeine to stay up. I am very disappointed and DO NOT recommend this to any Caroline B. Cooney fans.

This book isn't something you would expect from Caroline B. Cooney. Usually her books keep you on the edge of your seat. This one does not. I'm not saying it's boring; I'm just saying that it isn't as thrilling as her books usually are like 'Twins' & 'The Face on the Milk Carton' but overall this book is half-way decent.
