Murder at the Pencil Factor is a great book. Criminologist R. Barri Flowers knows how to tell true crime stories so that they read with all the excitement of a John Grishman legal thriller. I truly enjoyed this book.

Murder at the Pencil Factory is an engrossing true crime tale that reads like a great legal thriller. That the murder of young Mary Phagan occurred a century ago, leading to the lynching of Leo Frank and an assortment of controversial characters is all the more amazing and thought provoking. The bonus true crime excerpts were also riveting! I highly recommend Murder at the Pencil Factory to any historical true crime buff, as well as other tales in Flowers Murder Chronicles.
