I don't know why most of the people are giving negative reviews about this novel. I actually prefer this book more than mercy. I loved the mystery and ended up loving Alec and Ragen.

I read the other reviews and as I did I thought 'Maybe I'm reading a totally different book from them. Because I loved this book and most of the reviews downed it.' This book had romance and suspense balanced out quite nicely. I thought the romance was quite sweet. This book made me laugh out loud a few times. No other book has ever made me do that before. I HIGHLY recommend this book.

A book I couldn't put down. The story keeps you entertained to the end. The story line's twist keeps in suspense on who is really after the main female character named Regan. It is about a cop named Alec Buchanan, who is good at what he does and taking steps in a new direction in joining the FBI. But Alec has made enemies with his captain and in punishment, he sticks Alec with a last job of playing bodyguard to a rich and wealthy woman. Soon it becomes apparent that someone has indeed fixated on her for no known reason and a list that was created will unwillingly change a few characters' life. Ultimately, Regan and Alec's lives as change well.

It was Chapter 16 before they even meet!!! I read Julie Garwood's books for the romance and the relationships and she didn't even bring them together until halfway through the book. The first whole chapter was completely useless. The friendship between the girls could have been easily explain in one paragraph not a whole chapter. I needed a score card to keep tract of all the people introduced with a needless 5 pages on each. It was almost like Julie Garwood was so busy laying the groundwork for future books that she almost forgot she was suppose to be writing a story here.

One of my favorites. This story is about another Buchanan, Alex. It also is the first of three stories for three extremely close friends. In typical Garwood style, the characterization is spot on and tension is high. With the varioys little comic relief moments through out, it is another winner.

Boring  I love Julie Garwood and as her loyal fan I've read every book. However, his book was disappointing. I always love the characters I like Reagan and Alec but the plot was boring and nothing between them really happens until towards the end

Murder List is the fourth book in the Buchanan family series. You are probably wondering what a murder list is? Well you will have to check out the story for more. Synopsis: Reagan is known for giving away money. It is what she does in her work for the Madison hotel. She works with various charities with the assistance of Henry. She is the only girl in the family of three brothers. One day her work is captured in the paper and a psycho starts to pursue her. Meanwhile her friend Sophie is very interested in capturing the infamous Dr. Shields who she suspects of murder. Will Reagan and Cordie help? Reagan is asked to go the police station to find out more about the case when she runs across detective Alec Buchanan. It is a chance meeting where neither expects one another again. When the psycho starts contacting Reagan on a regular basis Alec is drawn into her life. Will he be able to protect her? Will sparks fly in this relationship? Who is the murderer? My Thoughts: Julie introduces us to another Buchanan brother in this one Alec. Did I enjoy the mystery? Yes. Did I feel that is was well plotted? Yes. The romance was great as well. The only negative for me is it becomes a predictable romance novel. This novel offered a slightly different aspect in the girlfriend factor. I haven’t read many of Julie’s novels that have a strong female component to them. This is a great change and one that is appreciated by this reviewer. .
