I find Murder She Wrote books great reading. I will read a Cussler book for example and enjoy it tremendously. It takes consentration and often nerve wracking. Then for my next book I read Murder She Wrote and relax. It has just enough mystery and at the same time relaxes me and transports me to her cozy kitchen in Cabot Cove where life is lovely but not boring. Jessica Fletcher makes me feel as though I am right there. I love all the familiar charachters.

Fortunately, I bought this book at a Library book sale so the funds went for a good cause, but basically this book is about this most boring tome I've read in ages. I dragged myself painfully to page 106, then couldn't take any more (running low on Nitrous, I guess) and went to the final chapter where the thrilling, electrifying, dynamic (yeah, right) character of Jessica Fletcher was revealing the murderer. At this point, my cat was scratching at the bedpost, so I threw the book in her general direction. Best use of it yet, and I think I'll keep it by my bedside in case of any more feline shenanigans. Other than that, I've had root canals that went faster and were nowhere near as dull. Take this book if you can't obtain Ambien or Tylenol PM, since over the course of (trying to) read it, I usually fell asleep in about ten pages.
