The Murderers (Badge of Honor Series #6) by W. E. B. Griffin

A Philadelphia narcotics cop is shot dead in his home. A bar owner's wife and partner are gunned down during an attempted robbery. And in a beautiful mansion, a young woman dies of a heroin overdose. All the way to the top...

I though it was kind of boring. There was a lot of background/history and not enough action. When there was action, it was good! I think it ended rather abruptly without really answering thw 'how's' and 'why's'.

I am new to Griffin's books and I must say that I was impressed with The Murderers. The plot was amazingly well organized, the whole concept of a dirty narcotics team made me want to pick up the other Badge of Honor books in the series. I highly recommend this one to anyone interested in police novels.
