CHAPTER 1

One day Mommy had to go to work, so Daddy was left in charge of the kids. Mommy kissed her two young children, said good-bye, and then walked out the front door.

The two children, Josh and Jess, were hungry, so they went to get some crackers from the cupboard.

"Umm, what do you think you're doing?" asked their father. "That's not how you make a snack. This is how you make a snack." He took out two bowls and filled them with chocolate ice cream. He covered the ice cream with four layers of whipped cream and then stuck fourteen chocolate bars into the whipped cream. He topped it off by sprinkling a whole bag of jellybeans over top of the sundae.

"There. Now that's a snack," said their father. Josh and Jess looked at the bowls with their eyes and mouths wide open.

Two hours later, after Josh and Jess were done eating their snack, they decided to go outside and play in the water. They began running through the sprinkler, with the water only one foot off the ground.
