I flew right through My Bonny Light Horseman, so quickly, I was truly sad to see it end. I¿ve read all six books in the Bloody Jack series, and each one becomes my favorite as I read it, with this one being no different. From the start of the book, Jacky again finds herself in a many near-death situations, one that even forces her to become a spy for her country in a war against the French. Along with the usual main characters, Meyer introduces you to many new characters that you get acquainted with so quickly, it¿s as if you had been reading about them all along since the first Bloody Jack book. One new character that everyone should already be familiar with is the infamous French ruler, Napoleon, whom Jacky has a few important encounters with, one especially, that has a great impact with this book¿s outcome and the war of that time. Being a middle school language arts teacher, I would recommend this book to anyone that loves entertaining, historical, and even humorous books. If there is only one book that you buy a friend or loved one this year for the holidays, it has to be this one. It¿s a must read for the entire family.

Once again, Meyer's delivers a masterpiece in MY BONNY LIGHT HORSEMAN. If it's even possible, Jacky finds herself in even more action-packed trouble in the newest BLOODY JACK book of the series, which left me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire novel. I particularly loved the new characters and setting that Meyer's introduced to us in the newest adventures of Jacky Faber, where I could see exactly what was going on throughout the novel. He left me being able to picture parts of Europe that I one day want to visit myself, and I got to know so many new characters so well, and revisit some of my favorites from previous books. I would recommend this book to anyone that loves to read a good action-packed, adventurous book that also enjoys learning about history. This is a must read for the entire family. Go out and buy it today!

I liked the adventure and the plot was fun and thrilling. How ever i thought jacky was hypocritical and unfaithfull to jamie. Jamie deserves better.

Another great Jacky tale! I enjoyed this one more than Mississippi Jack; it just had more suspense and action to it, I think. There are some duller moments, but overall a great addition to the Jacky line. This is more like the Jacky I fell in love with in book one! I just really wish this ebook cover had the great hardback illustration cover like the other Jacky ebooks. The hardback cover is more fitting to the content, and this paperback edition just looks weird next to the others. Please match the covers, Barnes & Noble!
