Clarice the chair (our cover model) enjoys her holiday in the English Lake District. Her search for the best spot in the garden, and attempts to take a break from her own job, have an unexpected result.Some poems are inspired by real things that happen to me, some were entered into competitions at Eastwood Writers' Group, one of which actually won!The "things" include stories, memoirs and Thoughts for the Day, so pull up a chair (if you can catch one) and dip in to my silliness.

About the Author

Married to Don, I have 5 children and 8 grandchildren, and was educated at Alton Convent in Hampshire. My books, all set in Victorian times, are 'Looking for Jamie', 'A Dilemma for Jamie', 'School for Jamie', 'Choices for Jamie' and 'Lea Croft' published by Bluewood Publishing.
