Glad that Michael found his love in Sally & her little boy, that nobody gave up on him. I am hoping that there will be more to this series!

What a great love story. Starts out sad but gets better and better for Sally and her son Davy. Matthew can't help falling in love with both of them. This is the 4th in the series of the Williamette Wives. If you love stories with HEA ,spankings and Love, you will fall in love with this author and this series. I have read the whole series. You can read this as a stand alone, but you really should read them all. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.

I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book. This is book four in this series and the story of Mathew and Sally. Sally has a son Davy who really is the third main character in this book and his story is as important as Mathew and Sally’s. I really enjoyed reading this book which of course, results in Sally being befriended by the women of the Rose Ranch. One thing that did keep cropping up to annoy me a little, was the language used by the characters. Some of it was far too high brow for the characters and the times. Otherwise, very enjoyable.

This is the fourth book in the Willamette Wives series. It is an excellent series about a group of friends who establish the Rose Ranch which they all work together. They are all strong alpha type males that believe in being head of their households. Although it is fun to follow this series as each of the cowboys finds a wife and builds a house on the ranch; it is also possible to enjoy each of the stories on their own. This story is about Matt who has had the reputation of being the one who would never marry. But Matt saves a drowning young boy and meets his mother. He soon knows that he will never be able to let her go. He lets Sally know that he will take good care of her and her son. He also let's her know that he expects her to keep safe and be respectful or there will be consequences. This is a good read. I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC copy of this book.

This is the story of Sally, Matthew and her son Davy. It's a heartwarming tale of great loss and tragedy followed by the hope of renewed love and the ability to overcome any obstacles. The characters are so realistic, you'll be laughing and crying right along with them. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

This story touched my heart from the very first scene. Sally frantically tries to save her little boy from drowning. Matt is in the right place at the right time, and manages to save little Davy and send them safely on their way. Then he kicks himself for not seeing them home, so he would know where to find them again. But luck is again on their side, as he runs into them in town, and his pursuit is on. Matt is the answer to Sally's prayers, a strong, caring man who loves both her and Davy. Unfortunately for her, he, like all of the men of the Rose Ranch, doesn't hesitate to spank her backside when she deserves it. This book is full of love and humor, as well as hot loves scenes. I loved reading it and can't wait for the next book in the series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Another amazing installment in the Willamette Wives series! This is the fourth book in the series, but it can be read as a stand alone story (although after reading this book I am sure you will want to go back and read the first three). Matthew and Sally's story is both sweet and sexy. I was surprised just how much I grew to like Matthew's character. In the previous books in the series, Matthew was my least favorite character - he always seemed a little cold and down on love. This book shows that it just took the right woman to win his heart. I also liked his interaction with Sally's son, Davy. By the time I finished the book, Matthew had become my favorite Willamette husband! I highly recommend this book. This is the 4th book in the Willamette Wives by Maggie Ryan and it was enjoyable. This is a stand alone book, but I loved the other 3. Matthew was the hold out and said he'd never get married till he met a widow, Sally and her darling son Davy when Davy almost drowned. There was spanking involved, but all well deserved and loving all around.

Very enjoyable conclusion to the series (at least I assume it's the end since all the single men are now married). Matthew, Sally, and Davy make a great family. The courtship is even more insanely fast than usual, but I very much enjoyed the interactions between the characters and the way Ryan smoothly includes the characters from the previous books without things feeling either over-explained or like the reader is completely lost if they haven't read the earlier books. It does help to have read the earlier books and I expect readers who haven't will probably go back to catch up. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Hooray, another book in the Willamette Wives series is here at last. One of my greatest fears is that subsequent sequels to a great book tend not to live up to the standards and quality of the first. With this particular series by Ms. Ryan, not only are each of the books able to stand completely on their own, they also tie so nicely back into the original that you feel you are actually experiencing the love and passion within what has become “your family”. The ongoing saga of the additions to the very exclusive, and very loving, Double R Ranch extended family has captured a strong readership following. In this book we finally have Matthew, an avowed bachelor, meet the love of his life, and future bride, Sally Jefferson. The meeting is precipitated by the need to save Sally’s young son Davy, who is being swept down a river and is drowning. This is yet another unfortunate happening to what was once Sally’s happy, contended full family. As always, Maggie’s books present a realistic, if not disheartening, view of the real hardships that early settler families faced. In reality people died, both young and old, and survivors had to endure extreme hardships. That they could find equally extreme happiness and healthy fulfilled family (and sex) lives are the silver linings to clouds within each of her Willamette Wives books. Matthew is smitten by Sally, and even more so by her young son Davy. The developing relationship amongst the three of them is endearing and loving. Of course Matthew’s ways of dealing with Sally’s personal development into a domestic discipline life style adds the sizzle and excitement. Sally is the latest addition to the Tick-Tock Club, and I for one can’t wait to find out who will be the next. 5-stars for, as always, delivering all of the goods in a most enticing and exciting way. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Another great story delivered by this author! I have had the good fortune to read all three of the previous books in this series and this book is very true to the author’s winning recipe. There were times that I found myself crying and others when I found myself laughing – through it all – I was very entertained and was not able to put it down. I loved Matthew, Sally and Davy as they are wonderful characters that I found becoming more dear to my heart as the story continued. In addition, I was able to touch in with the four other couples that are part of this wonderful “extended” family. If I was living back in this time, I would have wished to become part of this family, even knowing that domestic discipline would be part of it. An absolutely wonderful story! Please note: I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for this my honest review

Recommend reading books in order. Many characters to keep up with and would have probably been easier for me if I read the other books first. Halfway through the story before the discipline/sex scene but IT WAS WELL WORTH THE WAIT! A lot of action and heartfelt moments. Can’t wait to back up and read Book 1. I VOLUNTARILY REVIEWED AN ADVANCE READER COPY OF THIS BOOK.

I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book. This is the latest book in the Willamette Wives series. This is Matthew and Sally's story. Matthew rescues Sally's son Davy and knows very quickly that Sally is meant for him. Sally and Davy have been through very hard times and they are ready for Matthew. There are plenty of references to spanking from this couple and couples from the previous Willamette wives series, but only one good spanking in this book. Alpha cowboys abound in this read.

My Capricious Cowgirl is a wonderful story – well written, likable main characters, a good plotline. An accidental meeting of Matthew and Sally, and her son Davy soon leads to growing affection between the main characters. Some spankings, some loving and the relationship develops rapidly and logically. While the supporting characters all had relationships develop in previous books in the series, you can read it alone – but it is a wonderful follow on to the other stories in the series.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. This is an enjoyable story about pioneer settlers in the Old West. It is one of a series of books but works well as a stand alone. Sally, her husband and their young son Davy set off on a Wagon Train but on the journey. Sally's husband is violently killed and the shock of it causes Davy to lose his ability to speak. At their journey's end Sally is faced with the difficulties of building a smallholding on her own. Fortunately she is rescued by Matthew, a neighbouring rancher who not only takes her under his wing but also takes her in hand which results in lots of spankings. Sally and Matthew's initial attraction for one another soon develops into a deep love and Matthew learns to love Davy like a son. The story has a number of characters from the previous stories which add interest to it. Altogether a very enjoyable book.
