I expected this to be one sided due to the fact that its from her mother's perspective. I also believe that her mother blames her for the sexual abuse from her stepfather even though she was underage at the time and was probably manipulated easily from what they describe of her mental state. I would also like to read David Smith's book to see the other side of things.

I actually don't know what I was expecting out of this book, but it pretty much failed in all categories except the "get even" one. Linda Russell used this book as a format to get even with people who crossed her and her daughter, Susan Smith. I did read the whole book and was glad to be finished. Then I deleted it from my Library.
