My Despicable Ex - Book 2 by Sierra Rose

According to the terms of her mother's will, Ashly cannot cash in on her inheritance until she and Jake travel to nearly a dozen locations around the globe. The thought of pairing up with her old flame makes her blood boil, but she has little choice other than to put up with her despicable ex.
Can Ashly put up with Jake through her globe-hopping scavenger hunt to get her family fortune? Will she ever be able to forget or forgive being dumped on her wedding day? When wounds run so deep, is forgiveness even possible between old lovers? Or is it, "Goodbye!" all over again, after everything is said and done?

I'm sickof books ending in the middle of a story, just so we will buy the end in a sequel. I'm not doing it anymore. I would have bought this as one FULL story. But not this way. Shame on BN and the author.

The first book was okay. The second book was horrible. So much "your so pretty" and " I love you so much". And then there was Ashly constantly talking about his greek god like body. The author used every cheesy romance novel cliche she possibly could. It was puke worthy. Second book is a waste of money.

I was disappointed in having to pay so I could find out what happened to the characters. I thought it was easy to figure out even with the twist in the end. I do wish that when the book was divided into the two books, there was a better division......it was odd that so few pages were in the first part of the book compared to the second book

Sorry Ms. Rose I am not paying for this book to find out the ending. You just lost a reader. It's not B&N's fault cause they sell books. This is just ridiculous!

GREAT,FUN READ. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IF I HAVE TO HAVE ONE IS THAT I AGREE WITH THE OTHERS THAT THE AUTHOR SHOULD HAVE JUST MADE THIS ONE BOOK

Started with book 1 and had to get book 2 to see how the story finished. Very easy read. Lived the characters and their adventures were so highly detailed, you could envision exactly what the places were like. Look forward to reading more of Sierra's novels.

This story had a slim but doablr plot. Way too much descriptive of the characters clothes, food, sites, vehicles etc... Way to little building the characters into people you care enough to read about.

Why continually remind the reader that he left her at the alter and she can't forgive him. I will not pay to finish a poorly written short story. Very dissapointed.

There was to much dialog about "I love you" through out the book. Also there are no NAVY Generals. ADMIRALS , yes but no Generals. Who ever proof read this book needs to do some research. Story was OK but lot's of repertition. A good editor could have made this book better. The author needed help and her publisher didn't give it to her..

I read the free 1st half and was disappointed that I had to purchase the 2nd half, but was interested enough to go ahead. I was tired of the book about 60 pages into the 2nd half but wanted to see how it ended. I skipped ahead about 40 pages and it ended ok. just too much angst on Ashly's part. It could have been a great book if the author had not over done it. I couldnt wait to finish this so I could read something else. The fact that I paid for the 2nd half made it necessary to finish. I don't recommend spending your money.
