Very good story line but the author could have put everything in one book instead of three at $2.99 a book . Most of the book is about all the books she have out but she is in the right direction

I was gifted by the author in exchange for an honest review. WHALE, Marian Tee returns in full. Part II picks up two months after Serenity's answered question, and I thought that through the tears, the heated moments and the heartache, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It's certainly more intense than the first installment, as Serenity is now nineteen and at Mr. de Konigh's disposal. There's a fourteen-year age difference between the two, but frankly I don't feel it. I do, however, feel every day of innocence from Serenity, and in a way I understand Willem's slight obsession with wanting to care for her no matter their situation. A few secrets are revealed in the pages, and the ending was- well. It's Marian. There's a cliffhanger :P This book had a lot of teeth-pulling steps for Willem to take if he wanted Serenity in his life again, and the pace was slow (in a good way) where emotions were concerned, and fast (also in a good way) where time was concerned. And by time, I mean the kind of time that one can only achieve when they feel they've known someone for their entire life. This fast pace allowed for their story to flow nicely with the ups and downs of their relationship. I recommend this series (start with Part I) for the hardcore romantics who enjoy a good fated love between two very stubborn people who fought to rise beyond their damaged childhoods. A very good and entertaining read.
