Loved It's twists. Hard to put down. F word was not needed.....especially from a female lawyer. Only complaint......un needed profanity......although very little. Again, not needed!

It is a somewhat ridiculous set of circumstances and characters. I do not plan to read other books in this series.

After searching five years for her husband Kelly has Chaz declared legally dead. However, the memorial service for Chaz was accidentally scheduled hours after she married her second husband, Spencer. But who ends up walking in during the service but the not so deceased Chaz who¿s been held prisoner by Pygmies in the Amazon. Kelly, of course, does what any self-respecting woman would do under the circumstances, she faints. Chaz, expects his marriage to Kelly will pick up right where it left off in spite of the pesky little detail of her wedding to Spencer. Spencer, who is waiting for his bride in the honeymoon suite, thinks otherwise. What follows is a madcap; laugh out loud adventure similar to the screwball comedies of the 1930¿s. Enter Garcia, the delusional woman Chaz was imprisoned with. She¿s decided she¿s going to marry Chaz even though he¿s disliked her from the start and wants nothing to do with her. Add in Kelly¿s brother, mother, boss, Chaz, Spencer, Garcia¿s brothers & Kelly. Put them all together in the same hotel and shake! The result involves hiding in closets & bathrooms, putting up with a snotty hotel clerk, dodging reporters & climbing up trellises. I stayed up all night to finish this one and at one point woke my husband up because I was laughing so hard! I can¿t wait for Scott¿s story!

It was nice reading a story that takes place in my home state of Colorado. Quick read, cute story like but towards the end I just wanted it to send, I felt some stuff could have been taken out.....about the last chapteer and a half. Loved Scott, he stole the "show".

Poor storyline. Unbelievable plot, shallow characters. Would not recommend this book to anyone.

Good book. Nothing like marrying your 2nd husband a week after you have your first husband declared dead. Then later that day, she attends her 1st husband's menorial service. To top it off, the "deceased" husband shows up at his own funeral service shocking everyone. Funny story.

Fun story BUT she blatantly stole the premise from the movie "My favorite wife." Besides switching the characters around her story is basically the sale except that her characters were shallow and not likable. My rating is based on the fact that I like the movie/story but her writing isn't exceptional.

The book is more silly than funny. I wasn't impressed.

This was a great light hearted book, funny without the humor being forced.

I cannot ever remember hating characters as much as I hate Chaz. And Kelly. And Candace. And Amalia. Everything ended up okay on the last page, but that's not nearly enough to assuage my anger. Possibly I have issues ;-)
