About the Author

Chris Ferrie is an award-winning physicist and Senior Lecturer for Quantum Software and Information at the University of Technology Sydney. He has a Masters in applied mathematics, BMath in mathematical physics and a PhD in applied mathematics. He lives in Australia with his wife and children.

Lindsay Dale-Scott is an illustrator and designer living in Cleveland, Ohio. She has a strong passion for creating cute and beautiful work, especially for children. Her work is whimsical with a soft, sophisticated touch, drawing inspiration from nature, history, and things that are a bit quirky. She has worked on a variety of projects, including gift packaging, fabric design, and home decor, as well as illustrating children’s books. When she's not drawing, you can find her drinking coffee while spending time with her husband, two kids, and six pets (that’s right, six!), as well as getting her hands dirty in the clay studio.
