MY FLOWER FRIENDS introduces 12 unique characters - African Violet, Bella Begonia, Rose, Cary Carnation, Trudy Tulip, Lily, Daisy, Sunny Sunflower, Maria Marigold, Iris, Wally Golden Wattle, and Pansy - illustrated as amusing caricatures with very human personalities. Each flower originates from one of the Earth's continents (except Antarctica) and faces difficult challenges as it meets another flower from a different part of the world. The flowers have qualities and ideas, derived from their ancestral traits and life experiences, which help them adapt to new environments and unusual situations.
These six ORIGINAL stories - Be Yourself, Destiny's Friendship, A Chance Encounter, Friends for Life, A Lasting Impression, and Friends in Common - are for children of any age and recount how the flowers gradually form friendships in spite of differences in their origin, family, setting, size, color, type, age, gender, abilities, etc. Each story ends with a moral about life or friendship that can easily relate to human friends.
