All her life, Lexi Summer has dreamed of one thing: to become a mother. As the youngest of six, she's accustomed to the chaos and camaraderie that comes with a big family, which is why she has been anxious to get a jump on this next phase in her life. She thought she had it all: the perfect house, husband, and future. Until one secret rips it all apart.

Nothing in Linkin Stone's life has been easy. Raised by a single mom, working two jobs, and helping with his much younger twin brothers keeps him on his toes. He busts his butt to right the wrong of someone from his past and keep the ones he loves safe. He doesn't need anyone or anything. But that all changes the moment he meets his sexy, feisty neighbor, Lexi.

When fates collide, two people on separate paths suddenly find themselves traveling the same road. Could an easy friendship turn into something more? Or in the end, will their decision kinda create one big mess?

*Though part of a series, this book can be read as a standalone. It is intended for those 18 and over due to graphic language, descriptive sex, and the world's most inappropriate grandparents.

Lexi Summers had a plan for her life and one piece of paper blew all of those plans away. Determined to achieve her goals, she never expected the hot mechanic next door to be a part of the grand plan. Linkin Stone can't quit thinking about the "firecracker" on the other side of his apartment wall. Working two jobs and helping care for his twin brothers, should keep him occupied but he can't help himself when it comes to her. This is the fourth book in the Summer Sisters series. I couldn't wait to get my hands on this one as the author planted a nice Easter Egg in the previous book. Each book should be read in order as they are all intertwined and pick up where the other leaves off. I wasn't too sure what to think of Lexi before this one started. She seemed self-assured and very independent from My Kinda Song. I truly loved getting know her. And that sexy mechanic? Girls, he will set your kindles on fire! I was also treated to more of the grandparents antics and laughed out loud several times. I like how the author handles both the serious as well as the comedic aspects of this storyline. I have read all of this author's other books, as she is one of my top go to authors. I don't even bother with the blurb as I know going in I will love it. I highly recommend this book, well this series.

This is book 4 in the Summer Sisters series.  All of the books tie in together, immersing you in a world where family is the most important thing and support is given without question.  While the book can be read as a standalone, there are characters and events that refer back to previous stories.  Awesome all on its own, its much better read as a series. OMG!  Linkin is just....Swoon!  A bad boy with a soft heart, every girl's secret wish!  I just can't get over how sweet he is with his mom and brothers!  A hard worker, doing more than his fair share to help his mom out.  I can't think of another way to say it but....HOT!!!!   And those brothers of his are a riot!  I just could not stop laughing at their antics! Lexi is a good girl, who craves a wild side.  After a disappointing marriage and a hurtful breakup, she deserves some good in her life.  She has dealt with so much to get to the point in her life that she is happy with herself. There was more than a few times while reading this book that I just burst out into uncontrollable laughter (mostly from the actions and comments of the grandmother!  She is just hilarious!)  This was an incredibly entertaining read, as is the entire series, and definitely one I'd recommend if you are looking for something to brighten your day and put you in a better mood!
