This story was really a great pick me up. Entertaining and well-written, it's a "feel good" reminder that life can bring unexpected surprises.

Hero: 7/10 Heroine: 8/10 Sizzle: 2/10 Romance: 10/10 Humor: 3/10 Secondary Characters: 5/10 End: 10/10 Pace: 10/10 *Happy sigh… :)* What an utterly delightful and charming short story! It's super cute and super sweet, quick (I read in about 30 mins, and I read slow!), light-hearted and very satisfying. Just what I was looking for! Actually, it exceeded my expectations. A definite keeper. Also, this is a new-to-me author, and I'm totally digging her style. I'm so happy. This is a *squeeee* worthy read! I highly recommend it. And can I say, I just absolutely adore this cover! I'm off to return my borrowed copy and buy the ebook for my own digital Keeper Shelf! Happy reading!

3 My Last Blind Date (Better Date than Never Series Book 3) A Woodward Systems Corporation Romance by Susan Hatler 4 stars I purchased the short story My Last Blind Date (Better Date than Never Series Book 3) by Susan Hatler and this review was given freely. Rachael's story is a wham bam first date to love short workplace romance with Noah that happens on Valentine's Day. Disappointing in its brevity. It is sweet and good but is over almost as soon as it is started.

Cute but very, very very short story. I am usually pretty good about checking how many pages a book is listed as having before I order, but I totally missed this one. Product details show 50 pages, however, after you subtract the 9 pages of advertisements at the back and the blank pages and intro in the front you are left with 31 pages of actual story, even the page numbers show 31 pages. These books should NOT be priced the same as books that have 150 to 350 pages. The author should sell them for at least half price. or maybe throw the book in when you order 2 or 3 of her other books. It's ridiculous. I would never have purchased a book at regular price for a 31 page story. I removed all of this author's books from my wish list.

Where's the rest of it?!  This was a cute idea and I really wanted to dive into this story and get to know the characters, but before I knew it the story was over!  20 pages isn't even a short's more like a long paragraph.  Disappointing since I've really enjoyed her other short stories in this series.

This one was a bit shorter than the first two and I wish it had been longer. I wanted to see more of Rachel and Noah (and even little Chester). Their chemistry on their first (sort of) blind date was very memorable and I really really liked them both. And I will admit some of it had to do with wanting to know how Chester was. It seemed to be over before it really began. I still think I'll try the next book and see if it picks back up for me.

20 pages with title/ content pages. This is NOT a book and should not be sold as one.

A very short little read to remind us life can bring unexpected surprises. It was a charming little read that shows us sometimes blind dates are the very best surprises we could have. That is about all I can say without giving the book away. It was well written with a lovely story.

Very sweet and romantic love story! Rachel finally gets her happy ending! Noah was a dreamy new coworker who after flirting with Rachel for months seizes the opportunity to make his move on Valentine's day! I really wish this story had been longer but what there was was wonderful!
