This is a heart warming story. The story leaves the reader with a sense of hope and a feeling of, 'It's not where you start, it's where you finish.' I hope there is a sequel, I simply must know, what great things will Lisa do with her life.

I find it hard to imagine that anyone would give My Name Is Lisa anything other than a 5 star rating. I too found it difficult to put this amazing book down. My Name Is Lisa is a wonderful story, a must read. Honestly, at times I wondered if Hallmark and Kleenex had a role in writing it. If I where the Author I would be looking to them to host and sponsor what I believe is a movie just waiting to happen. I truly hope it does!

I found 'Lisa' hard to put down. The characters were realistic, and their emotional journey was compelling reading. Should we look for a sequel? I hope so!

I love this book! I could not put it down. A touching love story of a community that comes together as a family. To top it off, the story is set in east Texas, my home, and reading about towns and locations in my area made me feel as if I really knew these characters and could place where they were at all times. This is a great book for young and old alike and teaches a great lesson. A definite must read!

I had heard about this book before it was ever published and was eagerly waiting for it to hit the stands. I literally could not put it down until I was finished. Not many books do that to me. This is a wonderful book for both adults and youth. It has mystery, love stories, excitement, compassion, good clean reading and so much more all wrapped up in one book. You will see life in a different way after reading this book. I highly recommend it!

I would like to know why Barnes & Noble is so dishonorable as to not post a poor review of this book and only post the good ones. All the rules were followed and there was nothing unacceptable in the content. You have compromised your integrity and I will not hesitate to inform all my friends and acquaintances.

What struck me about this novel was the author's ability to convey the emotions of the victim and her rescuers in an absolutely realistic and convincing manner. A horrific situation of an abandoned and neglected child suddenly thrust into a new world where she is surrounded by loving and caring people and must choose between hate, bitterness, forgiveness, and hope. The small town atmosphere and decent honest people in them so richly described left me with the knowledge that our country's best traditional family values are alive and well, that goodness trumps evil, and that love conquers all.
