Sin Joubert is a woman like no other. She is a beautiful, intelligent, and troubled lawyer who must deal with the damaged relationship she has with her parents; one of which is found stabbed to death in their own home. Torn between law and personal justice, Sin takes a leave of absence from her law firm to focus on the murder case involving her mother. During the course of the investigation, Sin attempts to reconcile her dark and twisted childhood. When Sin realizes that the truth behind her name is much more horrifying than anyone ever thought, she decides to take matters into her own hands. Everything is going her way until her only friend, Adam—a homicide detective, begins to do his own investigating. My Name is Sin is a compelling story of denial, generational pain, and perverted justice.
