The dolls and clothes are really cute, but there are some problems: 1. Very difficult to enlarge page 140%. Almost each pattern piece must be done separately. 2. Once the pattern pieces are enlarged, there is not enough room on the page to add the 1/2 inch seam allowance unless you cut into another of the copied pattern pieces. I tried to copy pages with 140% increase in size and found it so difficult to get it on the page, I ended up paying a copy center $6.00 to copy and still found that I will have to copy pieces separately to add the 1/2 inch seam allowance. 3. Accurately adding 1/2 inch seam allowance on many curved and circular pattern pieces is very time consuming. 4. Directions for making and attaching yarn or corduroy hair are incomplete and ambiguous.

I purchased this book and personally love it. I took the patterns to a copy store and got full sized patterns for the entire book for $10. I haven't tried to make a doll yet, however I have very good intentions to get started. If nothing else the book is wonderful for inspiration. I would purchase again.
