About the Author

Randi Berger is a powerhouse of ideas in action. Founder of the all-volunteer charity, Recycled Pets Rescue, she has saved more than ten thousand dogs in its twenty-year history. Her success comes from both her intense focus and her never-ending proclivity for pursuing the unconventional. Revolutionary in its time, her open-house dog adoptions at popular local venues in the late nineteen-eighties set the stage for other organizations to follow suit. And she keeps going. Continuing to help both pets and their humans, she has recently taken Recycled Pets Rescue a notch higher. It now provides support and education to pet-owners, helping them solve problems, with a goal of ensuring they are those pets' "forever owners." Building upon her phenomenal success in finding happy homes for formerly unwanted pets and running a rescue, today, through her writing and speaking, Berger helps other organizations around the world do the same. She is even more passionate about inspiring people to eliminate all limiting beliefs that are preventing them from living their dreams.

Berger is a graduate of California State University at Northridge with a degree in psychology and theater. Her book, My Recycled Pets: Diary of a Dog Addict, was recognized with a Writer's Digest Inspirational Award.
