I love this series by Christina Skye. Each story stands on it's own but when reading them all, the story is only enhanced. These are fast paced and quite edgy. In my opinion, these stories are for adult readers. Highly recommended.

Loved the story though somewhat predictable, I couldn't put the book down and then went to find the others in the series. Usually prefer the historical romances, put was sucked right into this one!

This book wasn't as good as her other ones. They kept you entertained and kept you guessing is it this one or that. It started off slow and really dragged on. I Started reading this 11-24-03 and finished 12-13-03. Annie isn't as interesting as Taylor. Annie, was quite boring. Sam,Izzy and Tucker Marsh the villian were very entergetic.

After a torrid affair, US Navy Seal Commander Sam McKade leaves behind Annie O¿Toole to deliver information that will catch a traitor. For Sam doing his duty has always been easy until now. He always wondered how someone could betray his or her nation, but even Sam struggles to leave Annie to do his job.

However, before Sam can complete his mission, he takes a heroic side trip and rescues some children, but is injured in the endeavor suffering amnesia. His impatient superiors decide to hide Sam in the Summerwind Resort while he recuperates and recovers his memory. Employed at the spa, Annie becomes his physical therapist, but must remain silent about their previous beach romance. As Annie and her patient fall in love all over again, a traitor plans to kill Sam and Annie if she gets in the way.

Like this reviewer, readers will say if memory is correct that the use of amnesia has seen googol deployments in books. However, Christina Skye makes her two-lead characters feel human so that the audience believes the story line is fresh and the memory loss real. The plot is filled with action and a strong cast enabling fans of romantic suspense to forget the numerous previous amnesiac tales because MY SPY will head towards the top of the list.

Though well known for her historicals, Ms. Skye makes a foray into the world of contemporary romance. Following in the footsteps of GOING OVERBOARD, Ms. Skye¿s latest is a treat to savored, with fast-paced adventure and sizzling romance.

Annie O-Toole is busy running her family¿s California coast resort, Summerwind, when she sees a familiar face on the television screen. Sam McKade, in navy dress whites, is attempting to halt an out-of-control school bus, as his feat of derring-do is captured on camera. Confused, Annie recalls that her Sam should be sailing his yacht down to Mexico after their short-lived romance one month ago. When Sam is injured while saving the school children, Annie enlists her author sister¿s help to discover his medical condition. Because the Navy thinks Annie knows too much about Sam, she is chosen to aid him in his recovery at Summerwind. The catch-Sam doesn¿t remember her or their previous relationship.

Sparks fly between Annie and Sam as she helps him with the physical therapy he needs to maintain the fitness of a Navy Seal. Though Sam is not who she thought him to be, Annie can¿t stop their attraction a second time around as they once again come together in a storm of passion. Powerful love scenes escalate the attraction between them into a once-in-a-lifetime kind of love. As Sam and friend Izzy protect Annie from potential danger, Sam begins to slowly recover his memory along with the surprising findings of his last mission. Can he remember all before his memories are permanently extinguished?

Sometimes comical and quirky, often steamy, Ms. Skye¿s latest has it all-a handsome hero, a sensitive but tough heroine, and really terrific romance with a dose of mystery. For a read sure to eliminate those post-holiday blues, Ms. Skye's latest can't be beat.
