Be sure and read the novella between #1 and #2. These books are exceptional. Ms Boyd is now on my favorie list of authors. The love story beyween Jack and Keri Ann rivels Ana and Christian Grey. The intensity will keep you on the edge of your seat. Absolutely beautiful love story. Words cant describe Jack. CB

Five stars! Can I get me a "whoop whoop" for Natasha Boyd and her brilliant writing? I just could NOT put this book down. No M'aam! This was my Christmas read this year. Oh and if I could speak directly to the character Kari Ann, how I wish I could be you for just a week, honey.....good grief. When you are descibed in this wonderfully written novella as being seen through Jack's eyes as the " last flight out of Bahgdad, the last IV in the field hospital, and the very last funnel cake at the fair "... do you have any idea how that makes a woman's thigh's press just a little tighter together? Boyd brought the sights and scents of an English Christmas (with it's countryside low ceilings and creaky beds included) seamlessly to the reader and I enjoyed the visual of going down to the frosty shoreline to search for sea glass...what a cleaver touch! The sexy scenes were hot hot hot! And even the moments of unspoken love that passed between Jack and Kari Ann made me root them on! All i can say is please just tell me there will be a future novel about their home out on Daufauskie Island!!!! ~M.Cunningham in Wva

Fantastic short story that draws you in from the first sentence. I craved more and wanted to know the inner workings of these two characters-TG for short stories. Read all 3 books in 2 days...better than netflix!

Short, and oh so sweet. And yet, again, a deeper insight what makes Keri Ann and Jack so swoon-worthy.
