Overview

During the 18th century, a young Prussian, Wilhelm Von Krieg, attends Gottingen University to pursue a career in medicine, but when he barely survives a brutal attack from a deadly wolf beast, his life is tainted forever. Suffering from lycanthropy, he is soon sought out by others of his kind and forced into a clandestine world of deception, corruption, and murder. As he attempts to learn the ways of the Wolf, gaining acceptance within the pack hierarchy becomes strenuous while some wish to destroy him or use his newly acquired senses for their own agenda. His only choice is to find allies, but concealing a lifestyle of shapeshifting and cannibalism makes local authorities suspicious. Soon Wilhelm discovers himself alone, armed only with a plan to flee Prussia, reach the New World, and ultimately find a cure for his demonic condition.

About the Author

A Columbia College graduate, Wise holds a B.A. in sound engineering with a minor in music. In 2006, he signed with DarkStar Records, by 2012 released two worldwide albums, and has been featured on multiple movie soundtracks. With the urge of expanding his creativity, Wise began writing the "My Wolf Within" series and published the first installment of the five-book saga in 2020. He resides in the suburbs of Chicago.
